This is beyond anything I've ever seen! every single detail is just amazing! The construction alone is mind blowing!!! Your vintage thread spools remind me of pirouette cookies! They're kind of a delicate thin shortbread /butter cookie with swirls of chocolate or hazelnut.

Another beautiful 'reveal' of more of your wonderful Advent Calendar... absolutely amazing. I know what you mean about high snow. I lived in Montana when I was young and we would get snow drifts that covered our outside doors and you'd have to force your doors open before they would get so thick and get hard. Neighbors pulled together to help each other. The snow was beautiful though... I still miss those times, especially during the Holidays. Thank you for sharing Luise.

Your attention to detail blows my mind and how you think about and find materials to create each piece. As a sewist I especially love what you did with the cotton reels and I recognized the brand as I have some of those threads.

I am looking forward to a Palm Tree Christmas, I just moved down here to Apache Junction ( Phoenix)for the duration of the winter as my husband works on a job. Im originally From Salt Lake City Utah and not a fan of snow and moved to Oregon that has mild winters. We are full time RVers ( campers). This Advent is the neatest thing Ive seen in a while. Again, you took your little stories and created art to tell those stories. I love it! BTW your laugh is contagious, your videos are so fun. Gr8 job Louise. Gut gemacht!

Now I know what to do with all of my shank buttons!!! Thank you Luise and Barbara! I’m going to use this technique for hanging dangles on the spines of journals.

I understand what you mean about how high the snow gets at the campsite. I spent three winters in Canada and the snow was really deep during winter there. To step from our house to the ground there was stairs and if they were not cleaned off the snow could be passed my head. Really strange feeling coming from Australia where it is usually very hot during Christmas. Looking forward to the next instalment xx

Your English is so good, so please don’t take this as criticism. The phrase you have been looking for (in both of your last two videos, I think) is ‘lightbulb moment.’

I am laughing with you, it does look like Rudolph's nose, I thought that before you even explained it. We do have similar things for newspaper and mail. We have a similar cookie called Piroettes. We call the sunshade an awning.
