I appreciate you showing the winch but realistically to pull a log like you did you would do better with a simple tow strap hooked over the hitch. Also, I've seen 3 or 4 winches get damaged by using the power of the machine to pull the line rather than spooling it with the winch motor. Be careful.
@@user-no7vp2rb5k Check the 12 volt battery under the hood to make sure it's fully charged. But it's probably the starter relay going bad. I address that in my customer service video. I hope this helps and thanks for watching ✌️
@@thekingrexway Can I ask you something else? I noticed that my disc brakes are always on! My brake pedal has no slack. When I go 2 miles the brakes are extremely hot!! Is there an adjustment for the brake pedal to back them off ? On a flat surface the Cowboy stops by itself as is I’m braking but I’m not!
@@user-no7vp2rb5k Don't know that the brakes are adjustable. If it's a new machine maybe they will ease up as it breaks in. I know mine would squeak like they were rubbing when I first got it. That has improved over time. If it persists contact KANDI and see what they say. 🤔
what you get for the price is best buy. But if you live in the center of Texas forget finding one. No Texas dealer sells the cowboy! KANDI list many dealers in Texas. However most they have listed say they are not Kandi dealers and half were no longer in business. Tried to buy direct from headquarters in Dallas but go nowhere with them. Lakeside buggies in Dallas are a KANDI dealer who sells the golf cart KANDI but don't carry the COWBOY because they want 60K to carry the cowboy line. I knew the warranty would be useless because of no local dealer but was willing to take the chance. I can fix anything that would go out on it myself. I can get one out of state but the freight cost just makes it too costly. What a shame! You think the company would want to get more machines out in the market place. Texas is a big hunting and ranching state with lots of buyers of utv's
Wow... I'm really surprised that you can't get one in Texas. That's where they are made! Crazy! Maybe that will change if inquiries and sales go up. 🤞 Thanks for watching ✌️
I ordered mine from camping world, and it arrived at my front door in about four days. The only problem was that it would not climb hills, it would just slow down and stop when trying to go up any sort of moderate incline. There’s not much to go wrong with it as it’s only a battery to motors and a controller so I assume I just got the defective machine. They are shipping another one and hopefully the outcome will be much better. Can anyone comment whether or not their useful going up pretty good sized hills and mountain environment?
I've had this phenomenon happen to me. It seems that it likes a particular way of going from the brake to the accelerator. If I'm casual about it....it sometimes feels sluggish. So I just stop and go again being a little more deliberate on pressure and then release to the brake, it then goes just fine. It seems to have a way it likes to operate. I don't know if that's a built-in safety feature or something in the software. That's been my experience anyway. Good to know that they are trying to take care of you. It's a good machine. Thanks for watching ✌️
Thank you for documenting your experience. We are looking at them and are figuring out how they hold up. Appreciate your videos!
Thanks for watching.
I'll continue to give progress reports as we go along ✌️
That's awesome! I wouldn't have thought of an UTV doing that! Thanks!

My Cowboy has difficulty starting. I usually have to push the start button 2 to 3 times to get it to READY stage and operating correctly!

Thanks for your very straightforward reviews.

Very tempted by this machine. Maybe next year I'll get after one.

I've put out a few other videos that will help give you an idea of what this vehicle is like.

I have been looking to get one of these. There is one at a store in my town and they seem real nice.
Make sure your store offers the one with the lithium batteries.
Some places sell them for under $13,999 and that's why.
Thanks for watching ✌️
@@thekingrexway oh dang! I didn't notice that. My store has it for 12999. I will have to check it out then.
I love mine it runs pretty smooth , I just wish I can get it tuned up to run a little faster but overall it’s been good

I had this issue and Kandi rep came out and “flashed” the computer and it solved the problem

What number did you use to get ahold of customer service?
I used the Kandi Cowboy Facebook group. Kandi monitors it and reaches out directly to fix issues. Super handy
