I'm excited to see where you go, and how you'll manage this. Good luck! After you beat the challenge, I'd enjoy seeing you make a large decadent base using all those complicated scripts you've published, from triggers no one asked for, to inventory management.
what the hell is wrong with stellar motion in this game 😅🤣 Look, moon is locked to planet and is not rotates too fast around it (easy to tell by planet texture) BUT sun cicle is so god damn fast... BUGSSSSS
it's a game dude 🙂 30 days of night and 30 days of daylight isn't fun but you could set it to realistic speed if you wanted too. No space games does everything by the text book. the time scales is just too big.
I know the method of cooling with AC and BPR with a waste heat outlet behind the BPR. Here you cool your base, but there is no waste heat to dissipate to anywhere. And so no pressure drop. What kind of trick is this?
some items only require a facing, like a wall/grating. Other items require a frame. what i do is that i place an open frame underneath the grating, place my things, and remove the frame. not sure how much i showed of that in this episode but i know it will show up plenty of times. :)
@@Elmotrix What I mean is, that gases and pipe networks behavior has changed... pumping takes more ticks to move the same volume from before Reboot, pressure balancing from one atmosphere cell or one network to another occurs more slowly... If I was to put it in more realistic terms, it's as if gases are a little more gelatinous
@@JoelleTheAbsurdist if you're talking about stuff that's on beta branch then we'll see how much of that actually makes it into stable. Beta branch is experimental and they change and tweak stuff rapidly.
Omg that is my challenge I came up with!!! So happy to see someone tackle it!!!
Thanks for making a series! I can't wait to see where this goes!

who said i can't fit them in here 😄
This is a brilliant idea. I love the idea of building so compact it fits into a tiny box. Looking forward to watching the rest of this series!
a very nice startup base design
ow dam hehe more stuff to learn XD
can't w8 to see how u play and all the stuff that ill learn from it keep it up
Ohhh boy. You gotta figure out water. Once you have that figured out you'll be good.
Can’t wait to the next episode!
OMG you've finally started this, as you promised. Can't wait to see it unravel! (BTW I'm Etsijä, fyi.)
OK, this challenge I will watch but not try to do myself :)
Woohoo

there is waste heat, but i keep it on the input side. it creates a temperature difference
How do you build on floor grating on the first floor?
I can't build anything, keeps saying "Placement requires support" ?

@@Elmotrix Cheater :P
hello there
Atmospher work VERY differently in the new version
the upcoming changes are mostly just to combustion, and i'll address it in a later episode. But in large parts i'm unaffected by the changes.
