No I dont think so. I remember reading that Madlib didnt tailor these beats for Gibbs specifically. I dont think think many other artists other than Freddie Gibbs could’ve rapped well on these beats

He really brings in that fast flow in the whole EP. Bandana is a no brainer to check out, Alfredo is basically a modern classic. Fetti is a collab with Curren$y & Alchemist so maybe if stepdad likes that one it could be worth checking out Curren$y’s album Covert Coup produced by Alchemist
