I’m just looking for a change, I’ve been a huge Arenado fan, he’s from socal, so bring him home, and it’s like they always say, a change of scenery, can ignite his career again. Muncy has done a good job for the Dodgers, but he is very inconsistent, so yeah I’m just looking for a change, either you upgrade the SS position and keep muncy or upgrade third base for Arenado, which means muncy has to go.
Muncy finally had a decent year at 3rd. He didn’t get exposed in the playoffs like every other year. He probably didn’t get as many tough balls to handle. I’m on the fence about him
Disagree! Arenado would thrive in this lineup just like Teo and JD did. Both had bad previous years and did great once they joined LA. Don’t forget that.
@@jasonlowrey8317Nolan Arenado is a year younger than Muncy, he hits for average and power plus he always has been and will be a better 3rd baseman than Muncy will ever be, so I don’t understand why not? If you are attached to Muncy I understand but he definitely is not a better player even in his “declining years”
@ I acknowledge that and yes, if you’re comparing them straight across Nolan Arenado is still the better player. However, he probably does not have more than two good years left and that’s only if he can reverse the trend he started last year. He came down a bit last year. There’s no denying that. if that trend continues, he’s going to be an average player by the end of next year. Not to mention the reason I wouldn’t wanna make the trade is I would not want to give up good prospects to get a guy that may or may not be good for two years. i’m not big on Max Muncy either. I just don’t think it’s worth giving up that kind of talent for a guy that we don’t even know for sure is going to be good for much longer.
Someone else to consider at 3B in the future is Andre Lipcius. I may be a little bias because he was born in Annapolis and I grew up near there. But, he's only 26 and last season in the minors he hit 25 hr's with 89 RBI in 561 at bats with an obp of .351. He has only 35 ab's in MLB and hit .286. He deserves a shot at the major leagues.
Hey Mike, first time I've seen, and heard you. You did a good job speaking towards the Dodgers "Trade Rumors ESCALATING" I'm number 234 smashing the like button. I'm no expert on producing a feed like I just watched, but I'd like to offer a little advice from a viewers perspective. First, the camera angle has you speaking above us, like looking down. Maybe level it so we're eye, to eye. Then there's you're background, just white wall. You need to go all Dodgers, all LA teams, or all sports. get something behind you. Good luck! Hope to see your show elevate.
Yes, bring Arenado home. Muncy will not be gone. He already said he’s willing to play another position if Dodgers trade for Arenado. Nolan would thrive in this lineup… he needs a change of scenery and he’s not old. He’s actually 8 months younger than Muncy.
Lux hit .300 from July 11th on. He drew a walk and was the first base runner in the bottom of the tenth in game 1 of the World Series (grand salami!). In game 5 he hit a sac fly to tie the game and moved a runner to third which ended up scoring the winning run in the clinching game of the World Series. Both his and Muncy's defense have improved. Lux has a very special swing that reminds me of Rod Carew. I'm not saying he's going to be a hall of famer but it would probably be a mistake to trade him right now. If I were the Yankees I'd go after Lux and make him change his swing to pull the ball down the right field line more often. Not a drastic change but enough where he could hit around 20 home runs a year. Max only hit .232 on the year but his obp was .358. If Muncy was at the end of his contract I'd seriously consider signing Alex Bregman if, for no other reason, because he has done so well against the Dodgers. Also he's hit 19 hr's in the post season with an obp of .346 and he's about four and a half years younger than Muncy. But the Dodgers have other needs. Hudson retired, they're not going to re-sign Honeywell and they have to make decisions about Flaherty, Buehler, Kershaw and Joe Kelly. First things first. Re-sign Teoscar, Kike and Treinen then sign Sasaki. After that, if I were going to go after an affordable offensive player I'd go after Jurickson Profar. He has a better shot at winning a championship with the Dodgers and if he plays well it will be easy for Dodger fans to forget about the playoffs. He and the fans in left field can make up. He was a first team all star last season and his obp was .380. If Mookie goes to shortstop which seems to be the case, then Teoscar can play right and Profar left. If healthy the offense would be even better than last season.
It’s an interesting one I actually think no matter where lux goes in 2025 he is going to have a big year. It takes time for injuries like he had to settle. Same with Belly, it took couple years
Betts will be back in right field that was just smoke and Lux at second. Arenado is younger than Muncy we can probably fix his hitting when he doesn't need to hit 40 home runs just keep the line moving.
The only way Arenado comes here is if St Louis pays a big chuck of his salary. He is not a 74 million dollar man at this stage of his career. Also,, never believe anything thatr Jim Bowden and Steve Phillips say. There is a reason they aren't GM's anymore...
Yup, Lux is 27. Keep them both since they're signed and get Teoscar back. I'm more concerned about Joe Kelly. He'll be 37 next year and last season he was subpar.
@ I’m taking about this season down year average 250 batting average not good I am taking about this year not last four years what have you done for me lately
@@hermanohm7861 first he was injured he miss half or even more of the season...so by your knowledge every dodger pitcher should get traded right 🤣🤣🤣🤣 dumbest comment ever your looking at his last 40games this season instead of his last 5 years 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 so let's trade Muncy you a comedian
@ it’s a tough call muncy or arenado both good players it’s a toss up I’m not general manager so I don’t know what to do they have to decide just a fan
In an ideal world, Dodgers pick up Muncy’s 2026 option with Alex Freeland breaking onto the roster. Mentor/platoon/utility. Freeland a guy to watch in Spring Training and through a full AAA season. Looking forward to getting third base side seats for OKC visit to the Iowa Cubs. If trapped in Des Moines, I Cubs games are your safest place to go. Otherwise insist on fresh bedding at your hotel and a sheets to put over seating, order delivery and be rested and alert for required ventures out. Show no curiosity in Des Moines and politely change topics as possible when beeping told about life or things in Des Moines. You are always a half step away from mental misery here.
why go through the hassle of trading for arenado? muncy is popular, played outstanding 3rd base in the WS, and is way more of a threat at the plate. trade happy talk headlines are not going to get you subscribers.
Definite decline. I just don't know why the Dodgers would want him at this point of his career, Some years back and I would have said yes. Please, not now.
@ Going back to when he was with Colorado he stated his dislike for LA. Dodgers don’t need him tbh. Cards are trying to dump his contract. Plus, he’s on the tail end of his career. Best of luck to him and his family elsewhere Miguelito
Don't want Arenado. Diminishing skills. Max is a better hitter these days and Max's defense has improved a lot.
Max Muncy is a year older than Arenado and Muncy will never be a better 3rd baseman I’m sorry but this would be a huge upgrade
Haha Muncy sucks ass at 3rd . Arenado is a huge upgrade defensively.

Get rid of lux. Mookie is going to be playing 2nd, base.
Lux is from Wisconsin so I can see a trade with the brewers happening
Just like Teocsar, you put Arenado in that lineup and he will excel !! Better defensively, and the most important part.......always healthy!!!!

Dodgers will have to look at 3B in future as Muncy ages...and Arenado isn't the guy...
Have a 3b prospect about 2 yrs away in Gelof
We should go for W. Adames
Na he chokes in October just look at 2020
Doyers r always 3 steps ahead dont trip 👍
Lux is more of an A’s player!
Lux is still young and getting better, arenado is losing it.
I think trading them is a bad idea for the dynasty.
Arenado on the decline, Muncy brings plate discipline and pop. Why mess with chemistry. Trading Lux for Devin Williams works for me.
The only way Arenado comes here is if St Louis pays a big chuck of his salary. He is not a 74 million dollar man at this stage of his career. Also,, never believe anything thatr Jim Bowden and Steve Phillips say. There is a reason they aren't GM's anymore...
He's 34 making almost 39 for two more years. No thanks.
Arenado has been on shit teams, hes gonna be pumped and play better once he joins the Dodgers. The winning environment will rejuvenate him.
Exactly!!!!
If he wanted to be a Dodgers he should have signed when we needed him and decides to play for the Dirty Red Birds. Im straight we dont want him!
