    I just bought my first ever wireless mechanical keyboard and wow! the typing experience and accuracy is miles ahead of MacBook’s magic keyboard or any other chiclet keyboard I have ever used in my life. The distinct sound of each key being pressed signals a single letter being correctly typed. This is important for me since I missed many keys during typing and had to correct my mistakes over and over.

    I've been thinking of getting myself a mechanical keyboard and I'm definitely considering the Keychron K2. Nice video as always!

      just get the red switches, maybe the browns but they are not awesome.

      I bought and returned the k2 first time and used an mx keys. recently i thought of giving it a try and trust me switching from the keys to a k2 is hard because of its sheer height. I'd much rather go for something like a k3 becaus of the low profile and Im thinking of returning the k2

    In my experience, mechanical keyboards aren't a way forward. I don't like the feel, my accuracy suffers, and I get more tired.

    I originally had the keychron K4 V2 but because i sometimes deal with customers over the phones, the keyboard noise was overwhelming so im now using an MX keys

    I have not invested in a "clicky" keyboard. I want to but do not know where to start with all of the offerings out there

    also im curious are those just the keycaps that are low profile or switches as well?

  • @victorc1462

    I wish keychrons made a version that takes AAA or AA or sonar panels to completely get rid of wires. Any idea if there are low- profile keyboards that take aa or aaa batteries?

    • @vladlabyrinth6335
      @vladlabyrinth6335 Год назад

      why the fk you can want this? maybe lets use aaa in macbook's also lol

    • @victorc1462
      @victorc1462 Год назад

      @@vladlabyrinth6335 well, i only change bats in a keyboard like once per 1-2 months, and I use rechargeable aaa bats. So once its time to recharge I just change them to fresh set and never have to use a wire. Very convenient. True wireless experience. And I ended up getting this keyboard for this very reason: there are no more wireless mechanical keyboards with replaceable bats that I know of.

    I'm an 80s child - and these were the standard fare with XT/286 etc machines. Are they durable, definitely. Are they HIGHLY irritating? YES. I would kill someone with one in a office. Don't get the hype, but either way, these are ideally for a man-cave or solo work from home environment. It is the tech equivalent of heating fish for lunch in the office microwave.

    I type faster on membrane keyboard I don't know why most people say that mechanical keyboard is better. I don't like the long travel of mechanical keyboard.

    • @hmdz150
      @hmdz150 5 месяцев назад

      The travel distance is not necessarily longer than membrane keyboards. Keys are registered by a slight press (in red switches) without a need to press them fully down. However, the audio feedback when pressed each key completely down is what makes the typing experience different. It signals a key press which is important to people typing fast to move to the next character without missing characters.
