I'm from Ireland and love scotch whisky I was gifted a few of these and they sit in the cupboard. I pull them out when not such good company is over lol
As others have mentioned, J Walker is a scotch. However, I thought it was expensive because it was aged, not because it's a rare blend. You learn something new every day! As to the price, I agree. I do enjoy a few single malt scotches but not enough to justify paying over $100. Two of my favorite go-to brands for sipping are Glen Livet single malt 12 and Glenfiddich single malt 15. But if I'm just serving well-scotch over ice at home, I usually reach for Chivas Regal, Cutty Sark, or J&B (whichever is on sale). Anything cheaper than that is not drinkable IMO.
JWB isnt as good as the Green or the Platinum/Gold/18. It has some rare Scotches and probably some really common grain/malt whiskies to pump the volume up. So like 1 drop of good stuff and the rest is barely legal (3 year old scotch) blend filler. It is pretty much something to buy for the rich friends who guzzle alcohol to show you wanna flex. What does alcohol content got to do with how good or the quality of a whisky. Mind you blue label is a rip off but it not down to the proof of it. Also in UK you won’t get 125 proof alcohol really sold anywhere.

How did he mess up THIS bad? 😂
Is he just trolling JW fans? There is no way he didn't know this was a blended scotch... Right?
@@mhedden033 That's how you to viewer engagement and he knows that
In another video he poured a Guinness beer in a pretty messed up way and people were triggered in the comments section
Gotta give him credit for talking a whole lot about something he absolutely knows NOTHING about. 😆
Un elixir🗿
Try the Johnnie Walker gold reserve, it's my favorite scotch whiskey so far 😊
You did a WONDERFUL JOB get straight to the point need to see more reviews
Should try their platinum label pretty fire
that was a good one I don't think they make anymore
This is a elixir..
Its a mediocre scotch
@@LeatherDaddy97 Stop Hating so much bro ..did someone just loot you a 1000k for a JW?
@@MikeJohnMentzer nah never bought one. Ive tried the whole lineup tho
@@LeatherDaddy97 But were they so bad that you hate them so much?
@@MikeJohnMentzer i dont hate them at all. Im just pointing out that it isnt special. Theres similar whiskies for $30
Johnny walker is Scotch whiskey. I know they're both known for having redheads but they are still different.
This earned a thumbs up for the honest review. Yeah, its a blended Scotch, but he absolutely didn't like it. As person who likes his brown water in the form of bourbon and cognac I approve. The flavor profile of scotch is not for me. I always thought I need to buy more expensive scotch. Glad rhis cleared that up
Don't feel bad I was looking up the difference for the past two days because I have a recipe that I want to try that ask for Scottish whiskey and I have Irish whiskey and I was wondering if it would make that big of a diffrence.
How to piss off an entire nation 😂
To hear him say it’s too expensive and then see what he’s buying on the channel now. So sick! Good to see it all going so well.
Which is the best whiskey according to you
Double black is still my personal preference 🤷♂️ a solid choice
If you want to try an Irish Whiskey try Redbreast 12 Cask Strength or Redbreast 27.
Yes my man, it's a Scotch and blue label not taken from just any barrels. The specialty of this blue label is that the ingredients are taken from the finest fields from the 4 corners of Scotland. And yes, it's worth it's price since it's not an everyday drink.
Mix half a ounce of Russel’s reserve 10 and a half ounce of knob creek 7 rye I find it sweet with vanilla
Is there anyway to know the manufactured date for a blue label or black label whisky? And what does the number with a underline indicate at the bottom of the bottle?
Thanks in advance
How is it in comparison with black label?
I enjoy some blue label after work just one drink as soon as i get home
I like the green label
