Sad to say, drivers are not following the rules of driving. Speeding, cell phones and too many distractions are the cause of these horrible accidents.

WHAT? You can't even spell the word and you think it's a bad choice. SPECTACULAR not specular.
The word (spectacular as an adj.) means
--- exciting and interesting because of being large or extreme
Spectacular: an adjective(describing word) that can mean strikingly large or obvious.
All you have to do is educate yourself a little bit and it will expand your vocabulary.
It’s not necessarily a positive word. You have to look at the context. Here, it was used appropriately.
Jersey talk is all.
Even if the word had a second meaning of "strikingly large or obvious" there are many better adj. he could've used . . .

Spectacular refers to the fire. Another term could have been used similarly like the synonyms dramatic, striking, and impressive. All of them referred to the fire, and the reporter did not refer to the dead people, instead, he described the impressive fire caused by the accident. Just clarifying, that he used the right term.
@@s-p-man5271 ok ummm....thanks for the hour long reply lol first of all he used the word spectacular to describe the crash itself in the beginning then again to describe the fire and yes i know the meaning but there are other words that sound more respectful to use when ppl die in that crash and fire. How about horrible crash and large fire ?

I was in the 4th grade when things went south. Your commitment is unparalleled. Your dedication has not gone unnoticed.
Until police crackdown on these crazy drivers this will continue to happen.
I see oversized vehicles speeding recklessly on the highway every day.
I see cement trucks driving recklessly by school buses daily because they are in a rush.
I see semi truckers speeding on highways with heavy loads by school buses, church buses, etc., because they are in a big hurry.
Truckers' insurance is very low-priced. Truckers do not care about speeding because Insurance companies have their backs, pay all claims, and keep insurance so low.
God rest their poor souls, good gracious .. seems a horrific one 🙏🕊

No, it is not a terrible choice of words. Just because you use it a specific way, generally in a positive way does not mean that the word used is wrong. It means your vocabulary is small. Try looking up the word. It was correctly used as an adjective.

This why i dont have a car. this is my fear car crashes SMH when i was getting my learners permit and had to get on the highway i was shook.ny is hell with drivers.
Just remember green doesn't mean go right away. Check both ways before proceeding. I saw the orig video the van seems like he floored it to cross the road and didn't look- had he looked left he would've seen that giant truck not slowing down. Sucks but you can't trust people will stop- could also be mechanical issues. Just saying be aware of your surrroudings
