@@marcocarnaghi294 i know... agree with you on this part... But i use this one for ``chug chug``... So, when i want more something more ``versatile`` i use TONEX , Neural DSP or Nembrini...
I think high frequency fizz issues are the bane of IRs. Interesting that in the Forward Audio IR pack some of them had that unkillable, constant, frequency-independent fizz, which is sad because usually those are the ones that has that high-end presence that would be otherwise great.
I know what you mean. Hard to put into words but it's there. The digitalness of the tone. That's why producers use soothe so aggressively. I'm wondering whether it's the aliasing nature of it
Oh could you do the same with the Otto cabs? They are so diverse I find It hard to commit to a pair of IR selections. They are said to be one of the best IR packs for low tuning guitars
Yes. Never tried it but well aware! My assumption is also that the IR may react to the source tone differently. So, say, if you do cut your 3 K and 4 K on the IR and print it as a new wav file, it may not always produce the best results. Based on variations of your DI and ampsim. So I work case by case here
@@DrMikeMetal the eq reacts fine i cut low end and high end off just like i do when im fitting guitars in a mix now i just load that ir and im done. Theres a really neat plugin by ghost note audio that lets you edit them
Thanks for the video! Bring the knowledge to the people 🔥
Thank you for the multitracks, super helpful!
Ive found that Bogren Digital ... Both the Jens Bogren and Tue Madsen Signatures are my pick of the many.
Bogren Digital are REALLY GOOD !...
@@thethings4708 How do you combine them to have clarity on the mids? I find them to be quite scooped

Hey dude,
Thanks for the video!
What do you think about cali cabs? Is it worth to buy for the modern metal sound?
Hey! Yes I believe that they are great cabs. I don't have these though so please take it with a grain of salt

Really good video, by the way! I have never hear of the Forward IRs until now
