It was that well known globally, he also released an English version of it as well. But I agree with you that Taeyang really does have that global appeal through his style of music and even dancing. Not only was he called the NEYO or USHER of SKOREA, but he’s arguably THE BEST MALE DANCER IN KPOP.. (Note I did say arguably of course there’s also amazing dancers in kpop). Anyways, out of BIG BANG..GD and Taeyang definitely have a global appeal and has done solo tours worldwide.

I think TAEYANG once said he identifies & is inspired musically more with Western music. IMO, he was the first artist to really fuse the two cultures, especially with that R&B flavor. That really madd KPop an easier transition for me and many would say TAEYANG introduced them to KPop with Wedding Dress.

In the end, you see that Taeyang was a fraction of a second too late and he was just about to confess to the girl right before his friend showed up and slipped the ring on her finger.
