    Ez Mil speaks and raps in Tagalog, English and Ilocano (is one of the Dialect in the province of the Philippines) he Fuckin' Rocks! \m/
    proud Pinoy here!
    Credits to Esor O YT Channle for this translation:
    He said he was discriminated when he was young because people saying "He's Tisoy" (Tisoy means Half Filipino and Half foreigner, Tisoy = the skin is color white / Mestizo). He said "I ain't Tisoy, I'm Pinoy!" The song shows how proud he is as a Filipino. His father is a pure Filipino while his mother is a foreigner. His Father was also a part of a rockband here in the PH long before.
    The Beat is kinda sounds like Spanish because the song is Cariñosa (a Philippine dance introduced to the Philippines by the Spaniards during their colonization before). He used the sounds/music of this Philippine dance and incorporate it with rap/upbeat

    He was dishing out his frustration of being called "tisoy" which is slang of mestizo (half-blooded). But being called "tisoy" does not necessarily have a negative connotation. On the other hand, it can be a compliment for being white-skinned instead of being fair (or brown). Anyway, he is calling out every Filipino that whatever the skin color, we are all Pinoys. Panalo - WIN.

    Being called Tisoy is not really a discrimination but a complement. That's why dome filipinas marries white guys bcoz they want to have Tisoy (mixed race) kids - heck my brother wants me to have these kind of babies. But I get why he doesnt like being called that way, bcoz you're mixed dont know if you're filipino or not. That's why he said "im not tisoy, im pinoy" ..so he claims and do say he is not the other blood (american if i remember it) but filipino

    “Tisoy” is a complementing words, And I am so surprised too that someone hurt when you address this words too.
    Being kayumangi (brown) and tisoy (lighter colors).
    The Rap song was really explosive Great great interpretation,
    like song before ,that make us unite..

      He said when he was "bata" meaning a child, he was made fun of for being lighter skinned which I can see. Back in Pangasinan I remember growing up, there was a half white kid that got made fun of a lot. It wasn't being racist or anything, it's just the fact that he was different being so white and everybody else was so dark which is part of being an Ilocano 😂😂

    • @lilrobert7897
      @lilrobert7897 3 года назад +1

      @@enzo_m_niac he explained in a vid on yt that a lot of children would not talk to him cause of his skin tone (at that time and i think even nowadays “normal” or “simple” people are not use to talk in english because they are kinda shy and scared of saying wrong things). ( if u are hella white and u got different look in the phillipines ,people think u speak english so kids kinda discriminated him even though he is filipino so he felt a lot alone

      In any situation, when you a “New kid on the block” hihihi. Foreign or not , you need to introduce your self and try to blend. Because you are both not know much anything of about yourselves. You should NoT put in your mind, this is them this and that, this is how they and so on.. if that So, you are discriminating too.
