They aren't my favorite band but that part of the song is definitely mind blowing.
Right there with you, since first hearing these guys they are on my favorites list among others like Be'lakor, Insomnium, Kreator, Amon Amarth, Death, Morbid Angel, Testament, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, ffdp.

Absolutely amazing! The song is incredible, the animation and narrative are awesome! I can't wait for this album.
Not very many songs can give me chills on a 34°C day in a car with no AC. This is one of them.
The way the last syllable of "legacy" hangs over the last note at the very end of the song as everything winds down is just so satisfying to me. The entire song is a masterpiece, but that specific part at the end really completes it for me and gives me chills every time
An incredible work of art, full of atmosphere and emotion. "Transience" got more than 50 spinnings to date - with no end in sight. I will never stop listening to this.
One of the most brilliant icons of poerty and music ARTs i ever tasted. As dark and eternal as the matter it develops.
If the rest of the new record is as good as this and Transience this might be the metal album of the decade.

Major Respect to SHYLMAGOGHNARN. This is some Awesome Dutch black metal! The whole new Album/CD (Transience) is amazing. This video is also very cool, and perfect for this song. This Black Metal from the Netherlands is Highly Recommended!
I was stunned when I checked out Emergence awhile back. When I heard that they were working on a new album I was excited to see how they would pull it off. Now seeing Transience finally being released and listening to this song in particular...I sure hope the rest of the album is as good as this piece.

I know right? I Am the Abyss is one of the greatest instrumentals ever. And A New Dawn if probably my favorite over all track from the album.
4 years I've been waiting for this album. And so far it's so good.
Wise decisions. Nimblkorg & Skirge may be the nicest guys in metal. I did an interview with them after this album was announced and they literally could not have been nicer, honest or more generous with their time. This album will be the perfect follow-up to Emergence.
Their previous album is excellent and this one so far looks it may even be better.

This was the most anticipated song from the teasers for me, happy to hear it meets my expectations! Love the aggressive and fast approach this is taking, compared to the more epic opener - will be really interesting to see on which side of the spectrum the rest of the tracks fall.

Transience could be one of the best Black Metal Albums of the century, just like Emergence before.
Shylmagoghnar are one of the most incredible bands of their subgenre and genre at all.
And people say Black Metal is dead xD

This is what I call New age black metal. It only has remniscence of traditional black metal, with the heavy amount of chaotic blast beats and gritty vocal style. Other than that, Traditional black metal is completely different from this. But that's not a problem. This is fantastic music!!!
Emergence was almost all Melodic Death indeed (with touches of Black here and there, you could hear the changes). This album sounds much more Blackish, first half of this tune is so much like what Summoning does..
Emergence has a lot of atmoblack, but from the released singles of Transience, it tends much more towards melodeath.
I think this is video is a masterpiece, the music is excellent and the video reminds me of Princess Mononoke, a Japanese animated epic historical fantasy war film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli). In this video the anime became real. Thanks for sharing your art! \m/
