Cause the girl was probably all kinds of crazy. I know the feeling, last girl I was talking to was, and I'm more upset that I'll never get access to her seemingly endless supply of beer than never seeing her again.
I've had that comment posted for nearly 3 months with out a single complaint, until you just had to type something on a screen to make yourself feel noticed. Remember nobody cares about you, or your shitty attitude. I'll say whatever the hell I wanna say about something. And, to me Eric Church sounds a hell of a lot like the classic southern rock / Rockabilly sound that I grew up listening too. You don't phase me troll. Leave me and the rest of the folks that enjoyed and agreed with my comment alone, piss ant.
Like it or hate it, there's no denying when this song, and any of Eric's songs for that matter, come on the radio you know it is him. He has a sound all his own, and it's totally different than everything else on the radio, and that's why I listen to his music. There's no cookie cutter pop sound here.
Y'all need to chill out because Eric Church is one of the best in the business. He can jam out an awesome country-rock song like this AND sit down and play a soft, acoustic country song in the blink of an eye. Few musicians in Nashville are as talented as this guy. Johnny and Waylon would be proud.
I agree. I think he does it a lot better than most country rock bands. Most of them let the country get drowned out by the rock music, whereas Church has them on even ground sometimes putting one in front of the other, but not for the whole song
Eric Church is the best, he actually writes his own songs too! You gotta respect that. People like blake shelton dont even write their own music they just buy it off writers and sing it.... thats why shows like american idol are ruining the genre because these people get a free record label, where as Eric Church had to go to bar after bar trying to get a crowd and worked for where he is
If you have a deep connection and can put real emotions into the song you sing... go ahead and cover them! Just don't cover the same old, same old that we've heard over and over and over again :P
I worked at an anheuser busch distributor for 10 years when I was a younger man. thanks for taking me back to those "good ole days" with this video eric
Raise Em Up for our Fallen! Have a safe Memorial Weekend Never forget. Ok I know this song ain't about that but I am, and that's what I'm doing in this Hell High summer son. Blessings from Louisiana
Love this man in every aspect. His creative process is un fathomable watched many interviews and he is so involved in the entire process unlike any other singer/songwriter out there today. I pay much respect to this man; his albums are beyond incredible! As long as Eric Church putting out music I'm listening
I've gotta say, im not lovin most of the new country that's coming out... but this song just hits the spot!!:D Perfect amount of twang, country, and rock&roll
Maybe she just thought she needed a little liquid courage, to take the edge off, because he just wasn't the right "one" for her.. it was hot.. and maybe it was the first and last one of his beers, she ever drank.
Eric Church is one of the few musicians who really understand what country music is about. Most of the stuff played on the radio today are essentially the same songs with slightly different lyrics. Church takes the time and effort to write songs from his own personal experience and really strives to make quality over quantity. Some artists are horrible in concert because they've risen to fame too quickly and some of their music isn't bad but it's all about the production. How much money can they make. Eric Church is just a guy with a guitar and he can play anywhere. He ain't worried about the money, he's worried about the music. #Churchchoir
The super sonic cut frames are as good looking as this talent here and the fast action squares with this good looking devil in em are Academy quality Office of the Governor of Texas
Eric can never wright a bad song! His hole Outsiders album is gold! Love they way he is taking in his music. He's not following the crowed with the hole pop/ rap shit. Love his sound.
this is a different sound-- no doubt. When's the last time you heard a country song feature a trombone? Or a blues song feature a banjo? Does it work for a chart-topping radio hit? Probably not. But pop country's getting stale-- it can't just be pickups, girls, whiskey, and G-chords with electric guitars and rock-snares. This is cool.
***** I hear ya on that. That little jam session right in the middle really makes it stand out from the crowd. This is one of the few country songs on the radio I can stand to listen to. It jumps right out of that stale pop sound that I have grown to hate in most of what the radio calls "country".
Awe just love this video it just shows more of the reason why this guy is my absolute favorite:-) love that we get a little taste of the playful side of EC
***** really. anyone with a half-functioning brain that's not brainwashed by the modern hick-hop crap can tell that jamey johnson is a hell of a lot better than all of those generic beer trucks and partyin pieces of crap. at least jamey's music has a story of a real life struggle he had to go through and his sound is distinct
You're from up north ain't you. The radio don't always play good music. If they're "contemporary" Garth Brooks is not in that category lol and then you compare some good ole Hank and Toby to Jason aldean and Luke brayn. You're just one of them city boys or gals and that place that "the skies are green and money grows on trees" is Nashville, TN for me. Their ain't no better place for GOOD country music than here.
This white boy has SSSOOOUUULLL!!! Country music sounds MUCH better than back in the day. You can actually JAM off the country music today. It ALMOST sound as good as R&B.......almost.
Go Granite Falls North Carolinas Back in my HOMETOWN MOSS POINT , BIG POINT ❗️ 👉 👈 👇 👍 👏 ❗️ 👉 GOD BLESS YOU ERIC , CHURCH ⛪️ 🙏, CLAPTON , GOD BLESS YOU BOTH 💖 🙏 ❤️ 🙌
I love the Outsiders album. I feel like Eric's earlier records, e.g Sinners Like Me and Carolina, were the most honest. Although Chief was an awesome album, I feel he was making some of the songs to please others rather than what pleased him. The Outsiders just seems so much more honest. He wrote all the songs up in a mountain cabin with no distractions, all the tracks come from the heart and you can't get more honest than A Man Who Was Gonna Die Young. Just my opinions guys.
I don't know man, I think he's doing what his heart telling him to do and running for the outlaw image that he's always kinda aimed at but not achieved fully *****
This song is about losing a woman, and you're trying to tell me it's not 'real' country? In one sense, being left one beer short of a 12 pack could mean something similar to being "one fry short of a happy meal" - the woman leaving him made him crazy. Or it could just mean I've still got 11 beers, but I'm still more mad that you took one than I am that you left (personally, my favorite interpretation). This song tells a great story and is brilliant in its depth. This isn't just country music, this is great country music.
For some reason this song makes me really happy. I love how he's upset over the beer and not the girl
Cause the girl was probably all kinds of crazy. I know the feeling, last girl I was talking to was, and I'm more upset that I'll never get access to her seemingly endless supply of beer than never seeing her again.
I know, right😂😂😂
Me too.. It's awesome!
Just, yes. 🍻 (and the beat, groove and really just overall is fn great.) But yeah.
Priorities!!!!
Hey fools, this ain't country this is Southern Rock, it's back and Eric Church is one of the best.
hey fool you don't know what your talking about

Austin Stitzinger *you're
Yea
Austin Rountree Sounds like it bothers you!
This is good, I don't care what any of you music purist say. Listen to the lyrics, its clever and unique.
I like that all of Eric Church's songs tell a story
Real country music does that
That what true country music does 🤘
Like it or hate it, there's no denying when this song, and any of Eric's songs for that matter, come on the radio you know it is him. I love Eric church's country-rock blend
Agreed!
He's my favorite by far.
I agree. I think he does it a lot better than most country rock bands. Most of them let the country get drowned out by the rock music, whereas Church has them on even ground sometimes putting one in front of the other, but not for the whole song
Outlaw country music
walked into my bodega , copped a Corona , now that was a cold one
this is the shit ERIC CHURCH is amazing i don't care what people say his music country or not is some of the best out there in any genre
That was a cold one 🥂 😉
I absolutely love this song. Makes me want to grab a beer :)
Guys having a Good Time, My Uncle likes this song and VIDEO!
Who's still listening to this great song in 2021
2024😝
Now thats goddamn country!..:)
Love the song, the band is Amazing and the artist is #1 and leading the pack in Country Music " Hale to the Chief "
This song still slaps 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely awesome song! By far the most underrated country singers!
No that would be Gary Allen by a long shot
This is some funny shit, comical storyline and he's just having a blast. Classic Church, no real genre, just good fuckin music!
I love this song so much
Eric Church is the best, he actually writes his own songs too! You gotta respect that. People like blake shelton dont even write their own music they just buy it off writers and sing it.... thats why shows like american idol are ruining the genre because these people get a free record label, where as Eric Church had to go to bar after bar trying to get a crowd and worked for where he is
Brad Paisley is a man who is a phenomenal writer as well! Like probably the best TODAY *
blake does right some of his own songs but ur right about american idol and eric church is amazing
Taylor Schweitzer yes he is amazing, awesome guitar solos
Look at metal bands, they write every single song that play. I feel if you don't write your own songs then you should not sing them.
If you have a deep connection and can put real emotions into the song you sing... go ahead and cover them!
Just don't cover the same old, same old that we've heard over and over and over again :P
I love this guy's music

I wanted to leave a funny comment joking something about this song but there are just to many things that I could joke. You win this one Eric Church.
Eric, It's February now. So it's a cold one here in Buffalo too.
Hell yeah
One of the best storytellers to ever step on stage!!
Only in recent years
Best artist out in this genre hands down! All of his music is awesome.
Love this man in every aspect. His creative process is un fathomable watched many interviews and he is so involved in the entire process unlike any other singer/songwriter out there today. I pay much respect to this man; his albums are beyond incredible! As long as Eric Church putting out music I'm listening
If a woman ever says this to me, best believe I'm putting a ring on her.
Hell Yeah 😉👍
I've gotta say, im not lovin most of the new country that's coming out... but this song just hits the spot!!:D Perfect amount of twang, country, and rock&roll
I was at an Eric Church concert last night and I didn't think he was gonna play this song but he did at the end. Easily my favorite song by Eric

I love this song so much, were playing it at my funeral!
I fucking mean it, i am.
I Love It At 1:26 On The Video Where Eric Points At The Beers Behind Him!
This is the saddest song ever. You can leave, but damn...don’t take the poor dude’s beer!😂
Maybe she just thought she needed a little liquid courage, to take the edge off, because he just wasn't the right "one" for her.. it was hot.. and maybe it was the first and last one of his beers, she ever drank.
Right?
@@mikelivecchi9424 It definitely wasn't Eric Church she said "I'm outta here" to! LOL

Carol what the fuck is your problem crazy bitch.
OMG I am so sorry about the message. My 4 yo granddaughter got hold of my phone. But there really is no reason to be nasty about it.
This song brings me back to driving down 550 in the summertime.

Bronagh Mumford You're right. "The Outsiders" album is by far his most outside the box album he's done, and I for one am a fan.
Cant wait to see him in concert on april 14th in vancouver. CANADA LOVES COUNTRY
Love this album... hope he does a video for Devil Devil

So to this up he didn't care that she left he only cared because she took one of his beers
I love this!
