    I didn't know that the 'Sturt's Desert Pea' flower was to be found in that region. I've seen a lot of them way down in the Flinder's Rangers of South Australia.

      Duh.. are you saying that flora and fauna doesn't travel though continent and land mass...?? Hmmmm.. classifying flora and fauna of the world as migrants and refugees as pest is not logical.. hmmmm..

      The road from Hedland to the airport used to have a beautiful crop of Sturt Desert Peas that grew on the flats there (early 1990s). Awesome display.

      G'day Triton. It was a male camel. They're pretty big in that country - middle of Karlimilyi National Park in the Western Desert of WA. He probably died after losing a fight with another bull camel.
