I LOVE this battle!!!! Especially because this is the FIRST time EVER that you see the incredible "Newtype Flash"!!!! Amuro slaughtered those fuckin Doms!!!! If you play a video of his first battle in Side 7, and then you play this battle, Amuro doesn't seem like the same person at all!!! I LOVE the Dom, though. Its just that I REALLY like seeing Amuro becoming an ace pilot. And this was probably one of his most impressive ground battles. SIEG ZEON!!!!

But for some reason, I liked the Black-Tri Stars' customized Zaku II High Mobility Types better than their Doms. I wonder what would've happened if Gaia, Mash, and Ortega used their Zaku II High Mobility Types in this battle rather than their Doms?

They would've lost even faster, a zaku is no match for a Dom. Also, say what you will about the GSD Tri-Stars, but they're pretty cool. This clip sorta makes the classic ones pretty ridiculous looking.

The end of Char's Counterattack really showcased how awesome Amuro's skills were. And Char still couldn't beat him. Even though Amuro's Newtype abilities aren't as strong as Judau and Kamille, he really integrates Newtype awareness into his combat.
...He's saying that Amuro had necessary plot armor, he's not fanwanking over Zeon, if you bother to read. Sure, Amuro develops into a kickass pilot, but he still had to survive via plot. Of course, that wasn't going to happen in the original concept that Tomino had, wherein Amuro would have died about halfway in, but I digress. And the BTS -would- have finished Amuro if Amuro was just an ordinary pilot.
They'd be sitting ducks seeing as the R-01A was built for Zero-G Maneuverability and speed. They'd be weighed down just like the feddies have their soul's weighed down by earth's gravity. And at best, operate like an F type, at worst not operate at all because they legs can't support the total mass under earth's gravity. Dom is, and always will be the best land mobile suit and if you cut out the Newtype hax and Matilda's meddling. They would have beaten Amuro.

The Zaku II High Mobility Type is a space-use mobile suit, and this battle was on the ground, so the Dom was the logical choice.
And Black Tristar of Bofuri was completely clowns (at least none of that bofuri clone of tristar get killed for real)
