How did I not get notified when you posted?! I wish you could have seen the confusion on my face when I saw the channel name, but your face….lol. Glad you’re back. I have so missed the live puzzle streams with you and Casey. Glad business is still going great! Now, as for Ceaco puzzles, I love them because they have a bunch of cool Disney themed puzzles. Disney is my fav puzzle theme and I’ve ordered some really cool Ceaco puzzles from the US and overseas. I am not into the Thomas Kincaid ones, but the rest…sign me up! I’ve never done a Schmidt puzzle, but that’s mostly because they aren’t all that plentiful in SK. Off to watch your next video! 😊. BTW, it’s me, Krista_S. I guess I had a name change too 😂
Welcome back Maxine. 🎊 I wondered where you had disappeared to. Now that I know what the new name is I shall be looking out for future videos. 😃It is interesting to compare brands but not always easy to find two brands who have the same image. I've seen quite a number of puzzle images that are the same but produced by different companies. One recent example is Ravensburger's A Country Station (2024) which was also produced by Falcon as Departure Time Enjoying the Journey (2008). I shall look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Hey stranger! Good to see you again and hope you and Casey have been well. Appearance, price point, quality reminds me of the triangle of truth - you can have two but not three (and sometimes circumstances arise where you can also have zero).

The price/value category for these puzzles is very location dependant since they're manufactured in different parts of the world.
In Ireland, the prices are the opposite because of this - the Schmidt puzzle costs €14, while the Ceaco one costs €67

Love this channel, always have. I have yet to try Scmidt. I have tried Ceaco and found pretty much the same as you: thin pieces, crumbly, but beautiful vibrant colors and very affordable!

Main reason I do not buy CEACO is the thin pieces means the puzzle is also not very stable until it is all done and easily breaks apart while in progress. Also, I always do puzzles in short sleeves, so clothing does not brush on the work surface and cause pieces to end up on the floor. However, these thinner pieces will stick to your skin and if you unaware of it, then they fall off when you leave the table and end up sometimes in a whole other room. This has happened to me more than once.

I thought you were quite generous on the price on Schmidt wow 45?
It does start out as close to $45...although depending on where you are the tax changes the end price. Our 13% tax makes it juuuust under $50 which is what my brain just decided to jump to 😅
No on ceaco. They are hard to handle. Schmit looks better because of the hold test. The schmit doesn’t have the variety of shapes I like. However, ceaco has the pieces I love. Ceaco’s pictures are lovely to put together. When I saw the Disney images by Thomas Kinkade studios. The number count (2,000) caught my attention. This is why I am choosing ceaco than schmit jigsaw puzzles. Are you going to the world jigsaw puzzle championship? If you are, have fun!
Schmidt definitely handled well :) I like the thickness of their pieces a lot! Ooooo a 2000 Kinkade would be a ton of fun! Hopefully you enjoy it!! 😁
I likely won't be going to the world's this year, haven't saved enough money/time would be an issue but would LOVE to go sometime in the future I think it would be a ton of fun!
