She is an amazing singer and her music gets me every time. I had the pleasure years ago to see her perform. It was at a small venue and she was accompanied by a piano. She sounded just as good as her recordings. Even got the chance to meet her afterwards. She was so nice and down to earth. Thanks for the reaction!

In the early 80's Anita Baker and Sade ruled the charts ! If you want to throw in a couple more I would add Whitney Houston and George Michaels ! I have 700 Cd's in my collection , If I was forced to pick my top 10 favorite and give the rest away , Anita Baker's Rapture album would be in that top 10 !! I played that album until there were no more grooves left in it !

There is a concert of her’s, 1985, A Night of Rapture (she has a white dress on). There are several during this concert that are absolutely mind-blowing.
