Can you advise the methods of curing the paint of a freshly painted car body. What is the maximum temperature to set and how long the surface need to be heated. is there any other way to heat instead of using infrared heating.
I totally agree but I still lose a little quality from the upload unfortunately, I should put some DVDs together then you'd see the real top quality I see.
+The Gunman RAW There always will be a little loss in quality when you upload your videos on YT. Additionaly you can use some kind of hosting services like mega.nz and upload your video as a file to download. In that case we will get exactly what you see in your computer :) This might be a good idea to show the best of your videos.
I just got myself one of these lamps. 90 degrees of Celcius or Fahrenheit? How long do you wait after paint, before aproaching the surface with heat? Can this setting be used same on primer base and clear? Thanks
Hi, I recently purchased Infratech S 9000 wave curing lamps for my shop.Need to get an idea as to time/tempreature/distance form surface ratio for results.
hi buddy thanks for sharing this. I'm big fan of your work and to be honest learnt alot from your videos 🙈. just a question that for example you just finish painted a panel so for how long you would heat that panel up with infrared heater to dry it completely and till what max degree temperature so you can buff it up if you need to after cooling the panel down ? will appreciate your help like always! 😊
+Jayson Adair Yes you can! You can buy them online from places like Ebay, Amazon, Eastwood, etc. or at auto body supply stores. For an example, SRU-1615 is a great heater for DIYers
Hey gunman, I have heard that if you use infared to cure say primer and then clear and bake it can have problems cause one was baked and cured one way and the other was sped up via infared. have you ever heard of this at all?
I don't believe that, maybe the other way around if the under stuff hasn't been cured proper and then do it to the clear it'll shrink back. When I was new to it I was very into it and would bake the filler then each coat of primer and it was so good for no shrink back because it's done it before you go in the booth or sand it down.
Hello Gunman ! :D I'm such a big fan of you, I sincerely think your work is awesome and I'm following you in every vid. YOU THE BEST MAN I'M SURE EVERYONE THINKS THE SAME. Can u please send me a link of this infrared panel you bought ? Big Thank You from Romania, Europe !!! :D
Everyone asking about how long you should put this on paint man. This is so important and you dont answer!
Until its dry... How much did you put on?? Its important man.
Usually 20-30min for a typical 4 coat job. If your paper clogs.. Go another 10min.
Also... Read you tds.. I will tell you how long at such and such a temp.. I hope this helps.
I can not even find a light reflecting tube lamp. Since I want to try uv curring paints. Here to try and cure regular acylic paint faster.

How long did you set your curing lamp per panel?
Is it 220 or 110 Volts? I found similar lamps in China and they are 220 v. Do I need to convert them into US version?
İ need user guide
