    Spoke to a Stanford Med School student earlier today. He was a track star here at Baylor for the 5 years he was here (4 years Undergrad Bio, 1 year getting his MS in Bio). Pretty crazy that he got accepted, he was telling me that he was still in awe as he was there in Cali, sitting in his apartement. I'm not even a pre med student, I'm studying Mathematics.
    But yeah, I think the track probably helped him the most. I'm sure Stanford was more impressed by the fact that he was able to stay on top of his game and constantly place in his meets, all while maintaining a great GPA at such a rigorous school (for 5 years, nontheless).
    Man it'd be cool to be a doctor ahah. Anyways, I should be doing Calculus homework..

    I have just about graduated from medical school in England and am visiting Stanford Med School for the month of May to spend extended time in Cardiac Surgery. I Cant wait, it looks amazing :).

    Honestly, at the end of the day Stanford doesn't need a video like this. I mean, the honest truth is that the brand name is enough to make them come.

      +Sartorius988 Someone like me who is deciding between really large and prestigious universities like Harvard, Yale, Northwestern and Stanford, needs these videos and information to be able to narrow it down fully enough to finally decide where to go.

    It is a dual MBA/MD program. It is usually 5 years with no summers off. You usually work on both on the MBA and MD degrees at the same time. Very intensive not for the feint of hearts.

    One of the best videos on med students experiences, BTW... :)

    I still dont know if i want to be a doctor or a cosmologist
    what do you think?

    • @ALWPRODUCTIONZ360
      @ALWPRODUCTIONZ360 8 лет назад +2

      +Mauro Manucci Do a phd in cosmology and then go to med school after. Best of both worlds, therefore even when your a doctor you can still contribute to the field.

    18? I take it you're not from the U.S. Cause generally, you're around 21+ entering medical school here. But anyways, don't give up on your dreams. c:
