Summa scene potta. After they hiked her salary she was on board. Someone who wants to study won't sign movies. Even his interview, he polishly said, "she committed herself to the project". The truth is shalini was poor in studies too. I went to same school. Bunking classes and going to shooting had affected her capacity as student tremendously. That's why her parents were keen to sign more movies. She didn't study anything after quitting. Just did some correspondence course. Didn't even pursue interior decoration or fashion like most star kids do.

No badminton is not her passion. I read her interview in English magazine. Ajith liked to play badminton after shoots and weekends to release tension. She joined because she was bored. In her own words. A gossip read that she was always keeping a tag on him. Following him everywhere and because of being in industry from childhood, she had many connections and ajith was spied everywhere. She followed him to join him and see if he's spending time with other women. He encouraged her to play just ti get her off his back.

He finally listened to her when his controversial speech to karunanidhi, that actors are forced to attend dmk functions caused him lots of trouble. She used this opportunity to shut him up and control him. She's very controlling from the beginning of marriage itself. It only took some time tame him. He slept with vasundara Das after marriage. Shalini never questioned ajith or fought with him. But called vasundhara and threatened her. Used lots of f words at her. Then she did black magic to control him. Even his many health issues could be side effects of black magic.
