Thank you my dear young friend for this video tutorial. This is exactly what I was missing in the boring playing of the scale! Having laid out different harmonicas in a row and playing these exercises on different harmonicas through half an octave, I feel a true desire to continue taking your lessons!

first of all you are amazing guy and a wonderful teacher and i appreciate every single moment you was spending on teaching people . I'm new student at your channel , i fell in love with this instrument since i seen some of your videos . After all this is a great exercise for me and love it i want to mention something that you have to fix the list of the videos that you have like you have " Beginner harmonica lessons"
you need to fix it by fixing what the list include and sorting it in better way , like for example you should put this video in it at the very top of the " Beginner harmonica lessons" . At the end i have a small problem with moving from the 4 draw to 5 blow fast and the problem that i end up with 2 things 1 leaving air gab in between or drawing in the 4 draw really fast and in reallly hard way and then blowing to the 5 . btw I'm practicing a lot and with time it going better but if there any advise for that i will really thankful . Cheers

Thanks Liam. I was wondering if you have a exercise that would help me get better at skipping notes. I can do today’s lesson very well but struggle going from hole 4 to 7 or 6 to 9 as examples. Also, I’d like to incorporate holes 1-3 as well since most of the melodies I’m playing don’t take me that low. Can you help please?

Your lesson is helpful, but it would be helpful to also have the actual musical notes shown. We would then eventually be able to play songs from writer music, I think. It works for my guitar.😎

    • @Learntheharmonica

Hi Conny, I've considered giving the musical notes but have decided against it for various reasons - it's worth watching my video on tab where I discuss a little about the problems of using musical notes for harmonica: ruclips.net/video/uijKdpEoVZM/видео.html

Great lesson! I always play these with a bunch of notes so a harmonic view which sounds good but is always a bunch of notes. Do you have any suggestions on how to focus on the one note? Do you just purse your lips more? I don't seem to like the tongue that much, but do you think you need to do that? I'm going to thumbs up and subscribe to help support your channel cuz everyone needs a little help! Keep up the good work!
