    if you are a mix of offense and defense and would love to keep your opponent at the base line(meaning don't come in and attack), this is the racket to use...the flex brings comfort, the bigger headsize stops mishits and helps in creating serious angles when on attack...serves are bombs with that trampoline effect...once you figure out your swing for control, this racekt 104 v7 is a beast....its a shame people think that 95 headsize will bring them prestige...gone are the days of smaller headsize, the game has become too powerful and you need something like a 100 headsize minimum to avoid lot of frame hits...

    This is actually an underrated stick for years. Glad you picked up this subject.

    I tried the Blade 104 v7 alongside the Clash 100, and far preferred the Blade. Both are easy to use and have a lot of pop, but the Blade feels much better. It's underrated for sure.

    having owned every version..and my current racket of choice Blade 104 v7...love it...especially the flex and feel...just wish Wilson would offer it in 28 inch length like the SW Blade 104...

      I agree. I’ve actually been demoing the SW Blade 104. I love it, the control and power is amazing. I love the 18 by 19 string pattern. The only drawback is how heavy her racquet is, at least for me. I did like the v7, and I wish it came in 28 inches as well. I wish it came in the 18 by 19 too. I love the racquet line though, they’re all great!

      @@JCole-fg3rr I have 2 SW Blade 104 V6 version, I agree, groundstrokes are amazing... however I'm dying of exhaustion and soreness in my shoulders and arm for the serves and smashes. Have you ladies found anything like this racquet but just lighter? I've purchased the Clash L a few days ago and am still getting use to it, but the groundstrokes are just weak compare to the SW 104

      Lindsey Dia her signature racquet is heavy as hell. The v6 and v7 are lighter, but still on the heavier side. I got so tired using her signature racquet. I’m actually a guy lol. I actually found the racquet Venus used in 2017, the same blade as Serena but it’s 10.8 ounces strung, not nearly as bad on my arm. I’m excited to try Serena’s new 102!

    Can you compare the Blade v7 9816x19 to the new Blade v6 98 16x19 without countervail. Want to know if the v6 is worth the $60 savings.

    Where did you get the weight, balance, and swing combo machine? I have not seen that machine before. Thanks for the great review and explanation. I enjoyed trying the Blade 104 back in 2014. I never fully committed to changing to it though.

    Can you do a comparison or can someone comment on the blade 104 v7 vs blade 100L v7? They seem similar in weight and balance, etc... and other than the difference of head size and flex, how do they play in comparison? Thank you!!

    So when you say a racquet is 327mm or 337mm, how does that translate to balance, ie, "3 pts HL", or something like that?

  • @yangyibin
    @yangyibin 3 года назад

    How do you interpret the balance with the racket being 0.5" longer (1.25 cm longer)?

    @TennisSpin I agree with the skips on the blade 104. I have had to redo mains in the past on them before but I do have many female clients who bring them for restring so I’m pretty good at getting this one right now. Haven’t strung up a V7 104 yet- they love to make things interesting for us stringers now with the string pattern change 🤦🏻‍♂️
