While McVay was running the ball for 25 yards for 25 minutes, Donald was keeping the Rams fat out of the fryer so Kupp could do his thing at the end. Without Donald Rams lose by at least a TD.
I thought AD should have been MVP. He made the most crucial stops in order to give Stafford and Kupp the opportunity to make those drive. He also sacked every QB in the playoffs.
It was definitely a co-mvp type of game. I feel like Kupp, Donald, and Stafford all should’ve gotten it. They played their best at the most critical point in the season and Super Bowl. Without all of their efforts the game gets away and they lose.
With all due respect to Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald should have been named Superbowl MVP. In the least, they should have named Cooper Kupp & Aaron Donald co-MVP's.
What it actually proved is that he should of been Defensive Player of the Year, yes Watts had the sacks but it didn’t make a difference for his team, the way Donald plays defense makes a difference, but as far as SB MVP Kupp deserved, they had Donald and lost to Pats but Kupp was hurt that year, he made the scoring difference
It was the third and 1 for me. NFL running backs just don't get stopped like that from the side with arm tackles. Donald and Gaines that play...the strength there...
I love Coop but I think the MVP should have been given to Donald99. Those were a few drives where he took over and he didn't let the Bengals do anything.
How the pats were able to stifle Donald in the last superbowl they played is even more amazing with age. Dude is an absolute monster and absolutely should have been MVP.
Aaron Donald was awesome with the stops he made but Cooper "has to" catch the game winning Touchdown. That's the difference. Donald's stops would NOT matter if they were behind.
I watched that game with 9 other guy last night. We all agreed , 20 seconds after the game that it should be a 3 way tie for MVP. AD is a 280 pound pit bull.
As a 49er faithful I have alot of respect for the Rams for what they did this year, y'all will be good for a couple years but later those draft picks will come back to haunt yall, well deserved superbowl win for Aron Donald but 49er faithful we will be back next year so enjoy the win see y'all next year rams!
Not really bro. Known commodities vs unknown commodities. Rams have had huge success drafting in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Rams have an elite scouting team and it’s LA bro, what free agent wouldn’t want to come to here lol. As the homie above said, you sound more like a cowboys fan 💀
Why isn't anyone talking about Aaron Donald taking his helmet off after the last Bengals play? That's an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. 15 yards? Replay of 4th down?
No, the Rams would still have the ball because it was after the play was already dead. So it would have just pushed the Rams back but nothing would have changed.
Seeing Donald crying at the end of that game made ME cry, too. I'm so happy for all of them.
Reminded me of when LeBron cried after leading Cleveland to the NBA championship.
I agree Donald should've been the MVP but the offense gets all the love.
There's 3 MVP's that would be acceptable, Kupp, Stafford or AD were all legit. Happy for all of them.
Exactly. Stafford/Kupp don't score that TD the game is over.
Aaron Donald is probably the best defensive lineman since Reggie White.
I agree with that. Donald performance in the Superbowl reminded me of White's 3 straight sacks to secure game for Packers.
Hard to tell considering the crap o-line he was going against.
@@DesignRhythm I mean the man has a very long list of accolades
Probably???
@@DesignRhythm the man has 7 consecutive all pros and 3 Defensive Player of the Year awards. You living under a rock?

yeah but then u could say without kupp they don't even score two tds
I thought AD should have been MVP. He made the most crucial stops in order to give Stafford and Kupp the opportunity to make those drive. He also sacked every QB in the playoffs.
How do you even choose an MVP last night? What an amazing game by both teams with so many clutch plays from so many clutch players.
I don’t know why the MVP voters couldn’t give the award to both Kupp and Donald, that would have been unquestioned by anyone
It was definitely a co-mvp type of game. I feel like Kupp, Donald, and Stafford all should’ve gotten it. They played their best at the most critical point in the season and Super Bowl. Without all of their efforts the game gets away and they lose.
I actually think if anything, it should have been shared by Von Miller and Donald. Both of those guys shut down the Bengals in the second half.
With all due respect to Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald should have been named Superbowl MVP. In the least, they should have named Cooper Kupp & Aaron Donald co-MVP's.

I felt like he was going in like a bull elephant in the second half. It was another one of many masterful displays💪💪💪

Odell the misunderstood star in the modern era

When it's time to finish the game Donald will ALWAYS make a play. That's why he's the GOAT.
Facts long live A.D.
Hulk + Thing = Hung
Can’t believe you guys missed this layup.
Arron donald was mvp hands down. He's the best I've seen since lawernce Taylor.
AD ,Stafford,kupp all are MVP's TRI MVP ' S
How the pats were able to stifle Donald in the last superbowl they played is even more amazing with age. Dude is an absolute monster and absolutely should have been MVP.
Donald should have won the MVP, because of you sports writers being bias that’s why he didn’t win its shame.
And now he’s retired. My GOAT.
I agree Donald should have gotten MVP!!!
Rich is just speaking facts
A D...REAL MVP
They need to find other statistics to measure lineman because he is the best in the league
Maybe number of times has double or triple blockers but of course a offensive linemen might switch between multiple players
The Rams fans want to tank Rich Eisen for having rooted for the Bengals, the whole time.

We just won a chip with no draft picks bro 😂 ! When is it going to catch up or better yet when is this window of opportunity going to close for us 👀
49ers haven’t won since the 90s. You’re almost as irrelevant as the Cowboys 😂
He deserved mvp but for defence player to get it they need 10 sacks/interceptions just to be considered
Chase wasn’t as open as people think. By the time Ramsey had fallen down, Donald already had Burrow in his hands.
Donald was not going to be denied a ring a second time. He had a promise to keep.
LA IS THE MECCA OF SPORTS 🤷♂️🌴🌞
😂
*Jerry Jones voice* "Settle down there just a bit.."
Except for the Clippers!
More like plastic surgery.
No one can argue against your point. Anyone disagreeing just hates LA
So he pulled a Reggie White
Aaron Donald is the guy that guys play along side to have career years so they can get big contracts.
AD99 = GOAT 🤘
“The Thulk”
I didn't know you could take your helmet off after making a play like that.
Good point, just had a thought I didn't know you can rip a defender to the ground by his face mask turning g an int into TD either
They just would've had to take a knee 15 yards further back, wouldn't have mattered
Wouldn't have mattered. Rams would've kneeled it 15yards back lol. Cry more
its a fine, theyll fine him but AD don't care he just won the game
Something so nauseating about this empty childish adoration.
I agree, a very boring and uninspiring sporting event. Especially the half time show insulting black Americans in every possible way.
Brady retired.
Wow the roids Donald uses must be incredible.
Your mother says he’s natural
