Nice looking watch, well made bracelet and deployant clasp. Not very expensive and you might find dealers selling it at substantial discount. The movement is by far the worst incarnation of ETA 2824, that you could imagine. Certina factory regulates their watches (pretty poorly) only in 3 positions .... so the first thing that you might want to do is to check the watch on timegrapher and then send it to Swatch service. That movement has the beat error and rate adjustment by 2 screws fitted to arms of escapement wheel. So you need to stop the movement to regulate it and you need the special Tissot supplied tool to regulate it reasonably accurately. Most watchmakers won't touch the movement. The 80 hrs power reserve is just an emergency setup ... the watch runs at lower beat rate, so unless you direct traffic in the middle of busy street junction ... you will still need to wind that watch daily. 10 - 12 turns of crown between 04.:00 and 20:00. If you don't wind your watch at all for 2 or 3 days .... it will start losing time, as the main spring unwinds.
Just been watching as much as on youtube on Certina,what got me was,looking on a watch seller Web page and just noticed how well these watches manage to still be working,with not one issue AFTER 50 YEARS of ownership and another watch maker rem9v3d the crystal on a 40 yr old Certina and it was so clean,bright,all lume in place,I'm very,very impressed,not going to get micro brand in jan,getting Certina ds 2 ? I think that's the name £800,and cheaper .
@@davidobrien9362 yes, but i think you should distinguish between certina before and after Swatch group. I wouldnt say Swatch group certina is worse. But certainly different.

Terrible movement. Next to impossible to regulate. Certina used to be a good make in 1950s - 60s, before SMH (now Swatch) took them over.
