Everything Loudness and Takasaki produce, and they produce twice the rate of any band out there, is the absolute best of Loudness, 80s 90s 00s and 10s for that matter. Takasaki is a metal machine.
Yamamoto is in a different vein of business; it's called hard rock, however, he is very good, I must agree, and I like hard rock. As for Matsumoto, how can you compare a pop seller to a great guitarrist? TAKASAKI remains the UNDISPUTED BEST JAPANESE GUITAR PLAYER EVER, and for that matter in Asia.
AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! if only they had the full video of this that would be the coolest thing ever. This is such a rare occurence, could we at least have it on video seriously, man and Mustaine sounded so good.
For people that have never listened to Akira Takasaki or loudness. Ignore the 80s stuff, because there is sooo much better. Go buy the album spiritual canoe. Songs like Climaxxx, power of love, the end of earth, and picture your life are some god damn master pieces.
@qwerty123123ify - The 80s Loudness is the absolute best of Loudness! That was when he had heaviness and melody in spades. Also in the 80s guitars had some punch to them, they weren't tuned down to C-flat-mud.
I got frustrated when friedman left, then got super irritated when pitrelli was fired, and akira in megedeth could possibly be the best thing to happen to cure it
it may be another contradiction of the thrashers part, considering loudness ue to wear purple and have big hair ad stuff in the 80's but takasaki blows me the fuk away and so do megadeth theh both rule!

Takasaki is God. Good for Megadeth to give him the props!
I can't believe I'm hearing this!
Thanks for posting.
I would love to see this as a video, Akira playing Symphony of Destruction with Megadeth.

Akira Takasaki; 1 of the best.
i had the first loudness album like 20 years ago kicked ass

This is what my friends and I called: Symphony of Akira
I'm pretty sure it was only for the one song duration that Akira was with Megadeth... just a special guest appearance. Loudness are still together.
That is just the way it goes some times. Each line up has had its strengths. Would be neat to see Poland come back. He is one of my fav MD guitarists.
Next to George Lynch Akira Takasaki is right there, like the old Loudness But really love the Guitar work on soldier of fortune Frickin hot.
