    He was a guardian, coach, teacher, mentor, and their strength, plus much more that im missing. His daughters was his life, he was determined to make something of his daughters, he had a plan before they were born! That is a dedicated father that believed in them. And what makes this story different from all other athletes , besides the fact that they were raised in Compton and playing a sport that the public wasn't used to seeing black women playing, but he was determined to get them to be the best and the daughter's didn't want to let him down out of pure love and gratitude for his dedication. The family bond is THE STORY. A lovely story!! This story really touched me because growing up my father took me to all my sport functions home and away games, cheerleading, dance squad and conventions and dance camps in the mountains, driving me all over the state of California. Everything i was involved in, i always thought i drove him crazy but finding out years later that he loved being apart of all that. I miss him so much because a father can conceive you but a Dad will show his love by being your encouragement and strength to be your best while you are young and their reward is to see u grow up into a well rounded adult. I love him for that for being the best father to me. I was very lucky.

    What an amazing movie! I just got to see it. So sad that the Slappy Smith Show prevented me from seeing this ultra heart warming and important movie to see. I have tears of joy rolling down my cheeks, celebrating the story of the Wiliams Family. It's like love overload. What is sad about my remedial reflection is that I have tormented the memory of the great actor Will Smith on social media at every silly opportunity. But, after seeing his performance and every single actor supporting him, as well as the directing and the production, as well as awakening to Mrs. Williams, as most mothers and wives bring the. Actual. Woman behind the man truth to ever take,, I have come to understand the importance of Mr. Smith in front of the cameras. I, actually, came to this realization when he was the lead of "Independence Day". And he has starred in many blockbusters since; I love Will Smith I want to see him go even further. He is important to me. He is important to the world. Please, forgive him, Chris Rock You made a remake of, " Heaven Can Wait". Be divine. Forgive, Champ! You won this. Most important bout. It's in Chris' s hands And I I've loved Chris Rock from years, as well We have to forgive Will Smith. I said, Will. Not Slappy. Let's move forward. This is nothing, compared to the rest of the world.

    "Venus? Who's your best friend? Serena? Who's your best friend?"
    See, I never get why parents tell their kids "I'm not your friend": A "friend" is someone a person can keep secrets, someone a person would want to visit when they're bored or in a good mood, someone a person who can be trusted to have your back. Why would a parent not want their child to see them like that???

    • @lunarrobot9714
      @lunarrobot9714 3 года назад +6

      I think it has something to do with the idea that old fashioned/traditional parents have. They believe that if their children consider them a "friend" they'll stop respecting the parents athourity. They don't know how to parent in a scenario where the children are traleated as equals. Because it's easier to simply demand that they do as they're told and not question it.
      So long story short, it's too much effort for most parents because they don't know HOW to be friends with their children.

    • @rapinbatches
      @rapinbatches 3 года назад +3

      Because you dont respect a friend like you do a parent. When a FRIEND tells you to do something you don't always listen. Kids don't need parents to be friends, they need them to be parents.

    • @rapinbatches
      @rapinbatches 3 года назад +2

      @@lunarrobot9714 Obviously you dont have kids. Its MUCH easier to play the friend role than it is to be a good parent. It takes no effort at all. You are NOT equal to your parents because they are working, paying bills, housing you, feeding you, clothing you, everything. While you just reap the benefits of their hard work. THATS why you don't treat a kid as an equal, because they aren't.

    • @lunarrobot9714
      @lunarrobot9714 3 года назад +1

      @@rapinbatches
      It doesn't matter if I have kids or not. What matters is that I have parents that earned my respect. Because they didn't have that inherently.
      And you think friendship doesn't take effort? Anyone who truly believes that is either a saint or a liar. Because if it really took no effort, then EVERYONE would have friends.
      And as a parent, you CHOOSE to keep that child and feed/clothe them. You legally can just put them up for adoption if you don't want them. Providing for their physical needs is the bear minimun of what you're required to do. You'll get arrested if you don't. So I wonder what your definition of a good parent actually is.
