- THIS. WHOLE. DAY. WAS. NUTS. I had early access, got interviewed on TV, and then got hooked up with lineup cards (!!) by a friendly ballboy named Jake in the 3rd base dugout. Was I annoyed that the afternoon rain wiped out batting practice? Well, yeah, but that feeling didn't last long because cool things kept happening. Catching baseballs? Seeing Juan Soto launch a home run? Getting some free food? Yes, yes, and yes!
Najee Harris. That's the NFL player that I saw thanks to a bunch of guys who recognized me and invited me up to their suite. One of those guys was 14-year-old Jase Grilli, a future major leaguer whose father, Jason Grilli, and grandfather, Steve Grilli, both pitched in the majors. They were in the suite too, and I got them to sign a baseball, along with former Pirate Manny Sanguillén, which I will be giving away here on RUclips as a contest/prize. As I mentioned in this video, there are three things you need to do to be eligible to win this ball:

2) Leave a comment.
3) Subscribe to me.

3) thrown from shallow left field into foul territory by Pirates pitcher Dillon Peters
4) thrown from right field into foul territory by Nationals pitcher Josiah Gray
5) thrown from right field into foul territory by Nationals pitcher Víctor Arano
6) thrown from right field into foul territory by Nationals pitcher Hunter Harvey
So yeah, lots of toss-ups, but that's what happens when there's no BP.

Gotta say, having been a fan and follower for around 5 years, it's been amazing to see how the baseball world in general has gone from disdain for Zack to to all out acceptance. I think MLB is finally seeing Zack as an ambassador to the sport that all of us have known for years. It's been great to see so many players now acknowledge him, shout him out, etc.

Your videos make me happy. I love that a grown man has the heart of a child and gets overly excited when he snags a baseball. And the coolest thing about that is you make a kids world when you give the away. Such a awesome way to give kids a memory to keep. Great as always.

I have been a pirates fan for a very long time Zack. Through the good and the bad. My family(Generations)have all loved the pirates. One of my grandpas favorites was Manny Sanguillen. And my dad and i would always watch the pirate games. I would love to have that baseball.

Man I love najee, his heart for Pittsburgh, and not just the steelers. Love his work ethic and his coach ability. He just loves sports all around. Maybe it's just because I'm young, but I've almost never seen someone follow sports so much as to be a pro steelers football player, come to a pirates game, and go to a aew event before he is even in his second season! I know we didn't need a running back but im so glad we got this guy

Hey Zach! I probably won't catching balls on my own but I know when I have kids I will always take them to batting practice to share the experience of getting a baseball. It seems magical. You are doing more to save baseball than MLB itself. You put the magic back into it!
While I was deployed as a member of our US military, I was glued to your channel everyday for over 200 days stationed in the Middle East. I am a baseball enthusiast and it is my resiliency. Watching your videos is encouraging, informative, action-packed, and insightful on how to snag balls. My goal is to attend every stadium and getting at least one ball at each. My son and I are up to 11 stadiums, and my number is around 60. Thanks for your work. It’s always something I look forward to as soon continue to serve.

Zack you sure bring us joy with your content. Yes I'm here for the Manny ball. My best friend Gary Hargis played for the Pirates in 79. You reming me of myself. I was at a Dodgers game in 76 a came home with 11 baseballs. I was hanging out down the right field line. Far from 11k!!! I'm sure you enjoy each and everyone of them!!!💙⚾️

Zack, I hope you read this. UPMC is where my youngest brother works, where two of my nieces got their college degrees(one doctor and one Master's degree), and...THEY SAVED MY Sister-in-law's LIFE. She had stage 4 cancer, chemo and radiation didn't work, and their experimental treatment 4 years ago at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center has Shari cancer-free ever since. UPMC and Pittsburgh have a special place in my heart. And I'm a Steeler fan(I know, off topic). I'm loving your videos and travels to all these parks. Blessings from Jim K in Nashville

I went to school with Harris at Antioch High School. Nice guy. Didn’t know him, but he for sure put Antioch on the map at the time when he was playing for our football team.

PNC Park is definitely one of the most beautiful ballparks. I was in undergrad (Duquesne U class of '02 baby) and witnessed its "birth" and infancy. I think I went to the 2nd or 3rd game of its existence/opening. Whenever I visit Pittsburgh in the summer, I make it a point to catch a Pirates game. Haven't been back in about 7 years or so though. The views are extraordinary. The walk to the ballpark across the Clemente Bridge is a fan experience in itself. Nothing better than a sunny afternoon game at PNC Park. 😁

Many came to the US with unbelievable skill but just wanted to feed their mothers, sisters, grandparents, so you can understand why money was their first focus. Holy crap. I remember Jason Grilli when he pitched for the Jays (Jays fan who used to live in Toronto). His father also pitched for the Jays. I was watching the Jays game tonight and was tuning in to your Tokyo Dome visit and Matt Chapman came up to bat in your clip just before he pinch hit and drove in a run for the Jays against the Angels!! crikey. My first MLB game was here July 1st of last year vs the Brewers. Will Crowe 4th threw me his warm up ball and I caught a game toss up from Yelich. Will forever love the Pirates for that experience! It was also a rainy day but lucky cleared up right before first pitch
