This episode has excellent audio clarity for listening. This series has excellent plots and is well acted by the capable Alan Ladd and a good supporting cast. It aired on radio in 1951 (Los Angeles) after being initially syndicated in 1948. It is greatly appreciated that this series is available again on RUclips.
Wow Alan Ladd has a perfect voice for radio. This is my first Box13 and I'll be listening to many more - thank you. I'm new to old time radio and rediscovering the delights of Marlowe, Spade, Wolfe, Harry Lime...... And Richard Diamond (love Dick Powell). Oh and Bold Venture with Bogart/Bacall. So many gems.
+Gem Garma Thanks for listening Gem. Alan Ladd had a great voice for radio and these stories are quite clever compared to the predictable radio fare of that era.
Beautiful man great actor velvet voice, always loved hjm.
He's no Hudson or Bogart..pfffft
