Samsung Updates and Passes Test: www.consumerreports.org/cro/ne... Наука
You gotta clean the dishwasher to clean the dishes. Ok........
I want to work for consumer reports
Well hell with that price tag it should cook dinner every night ! Holy crap !
$1,450 , it should be able to make a bail of hay disapear. If it can't clean or finish a cycle, then why is so expensive? I guess it's for those who have more money than sense.
Our Samsung dishwasher works fine, but it's not the same model as this one. I will say, though, their appliances are crap. Their tv's are amazing though!
What's funny is that Samsung tries to excuse themselves by saying that the problem occurs under Consumer Reports testing and not under real world use ... all the while ignoring the fact that other competing dishwashers under the same testing conditions did not fail in that way.
is it exploded?
I don't think problems are just in the 1500 dollar dishwasher my 650 dollar disher is a hunk of junk, after 1.5 years of light once a week use it started giving a soft touch button code of a stuck button? It was powered down didn't help. it took up space in my kitchen for 3 weeks not being used at all but as a dish rack for clean hand washed dishes. I noticed the light stopped blinking the code ( my wife shut them off thinking leds were going to use too much power?)
My turn to do dishes, I seen the lights off so figured What the hell I'll give it a go, I sat with it the whole time it ran all the cycles then hit to dry, it been so long since I used it I forgot what the lights ment I thought it got stuck on rinse , nope it washed the dishes first time in 4 weeks. I'm thinking the reservoir on the side is full of gunk and the float was stuck in the up potion or something. I'll have to look into that.
A dishwasher should last more than 1.5 years and I should not be cleaning anything to make it do its job. Yes Wished I had an old Kenmore we threw out or a Hotpoint. the old dile dishwashers lasted for ever and got stuff clean.
So this problem has actually fixed the issue and Consumer Report printed a retraction. Look in the subscription for the new video.
My Bosch (European model, not American) had seen worse soiling and the filter is spotless!
Call it like you see it. I love it.
I've had a $400 dishwasher for 5 years, and maybe 3 times the dishes haven't been completely clean. Nobody should tolerate this. It's a gimmick.
The bigger question is why are you spending over a grand for a dishwasher?
Yup i agree. Just use your hand its free and easy to use
sebastian primus you can even get one under 200 that does the same thing
DJEddieXZ Disagree, in that you can spend $200 for a dishwasher that does the same thing.
That's because many of the ones you can get for $200 won't stop working under the same Consumer Reports operating conditions. That $200 buys you a *better* dishwasher for less than this grossly overpriced Samsung.
***** that's what I meant
DJEddieXZ Yeah, I know.
I agree. I was just pulling your leg.
Sorry.
This is why I stick with cheap low end appliances with knobs and buttons.
Way more reliable than digital controls, plus you can replace the parts yourself if they break.
happy hunting for them now.
That true. I have a Miele one that has digital display and all push buttons, way more complicated than the cheap one at my grandma’s house which is the dial one, way easier to select program.
Good luck getting a hold of Samsuck. It’s about a 8 hour wait then they tell you there is nothing they can do.
ones I had a washing machine from them it was shaking all over the place the first few weeks it was fine from than on it was hell it had is one life it was just bouncing, so they came to repair it en replaced the shock absorbers I was surprised nothing hydraulic but just a rubber around a metal rod Thad caused friction after a mond the rubber was worn out en the machine was ridding like a mad bull trough the room it ended up on the schrap metal so I gat a Bosch it runs silent, at last, there is peace in the house
Lol funniest video i have seen this week.
$450 for the actual dishwasher
$1000 for the brand name
I've got a Samsung washing machine, and it is useless. Things come out with marks on and I have to rub them under the tap. It has no visible water in and just slumps the clothes round to a minimum. I actually put water into the feeder with a bottle I keep to fill it up, because no water comes through into the machine and it TAKES TWO HOURS! Useless. Give me my old Creda, it washed everything at 60 Centigrade in an hour and it had loads of hot soapy water. I hate this machine. Samsung should stick to hi-fi.
Our dishwasher failed after 3 month.Service hard to get. Don't buy Samsung dishwashers
I expect that kind of crap from an el cheapo dishwasher that costs $150, not one that costs almost $1,500. samsung dropped the ball, whether they want to admit it or not.
$1,450 dishwasher? Here’s a better way to spend that money:
1) Spend $350 on a basic dishwasher.
2) Put the remaining $1,100 in the bank.
Also, cut off contact with any friends who judge you or make fun of you because you didn’t get the expensive dishwasher. If they act like that, they’re not actually your friends.
funkervogt47 thank you. Finally someone else feels the same .
Well Samsung isn't a very good company to begin with. And all they're going to do is edit the software. That's not going to clean dishes. It will only overheat the motor causing more problems. And they say a lot of other dishwashers don't have this problem so its not consumer reports problem.
I saw that like three weeks ago and I have to great I've been ranting over it like crazy there is no logical reason that would do anything different but possibly burn something up
Really? Did samsung make the expert lady wash that thing? Ridiculous.
I have a old dish washer of 2000 and it still works perfectly fine. And a brand new Dish washer made by samsung can't..
Tommy Whitaker 40 years? Damn
I've got older stuff also that 40 years old as well.
The only problem is things that old become outdated.
He's got a stereo.... Not 5.1 7.1 9.2 or 9.2 stereo is nice, but its not good for movies.
oldies are goodies
Who in the real world puts dirty dishes into a dishwasher?
I and millions of other people do. I don't rinse anything. The idiots that rinse dishes before they put them in there have never had a good dishwasher
It was a joke.
Byb
If you're expected to wash your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, then you don't need a $1450 dishwasher. You need a $14.50 drying rack.
I actually rinse mine off. Always have. Always will. But hey I even use my dishwasher for storage. True story!
Why would Samsung reprogram it so even with a clogged filter it still washes? The thing is going to flood.
its needs a mini garbage disposal like many of them have.
Kenmore Elite TurboWash dishwasher models do a lot better than this.
Samsung appliances suck stay away I wish someone warned me before I bought all my Samsung appliances
I bought one. Love it.
I wouldn't abuse my dishwasher like that... pretty dumb.
People will ALWAYS defend their purchases (they don't want to look like an idiot who has been had), so your post isn't worth much.
Yea I love mine too
It's not an abuse, it's a test.
More to the point, other less costly dishwashers have not failed those tests.
If a less expensive dishwasher can reliably do the work as advertised for less money, then it's a superior value.
it's not a garbage disposal either...
"More to the point, other less costly dishwashers have not failed those tests." weak argument
brianl9944
No it isn't. It's only "weak" to those who purchased the suspect product in question (ie: you).
Lol! I helped Samsung Refrigerator to cool and freez my food too. I helped Samsung Washing machine wash my clothes too. I have decided I can't help anymore!
HA, fail... Paying 1000+ Dollars for a dishwasher that thing better not need any intervention. My 300 dollar dishwasher does just fine without help.
samsung, lg, and failure with appliances is a regular occurrence. most appliances are junk these days, but the worst are coming out of korea.
I use my dishwasher everyday...I have freinds over all the time, and we do alot of cooking.. To tell me I have to clean the filter after each use, or duing the cleaning process..is total garbage.. My whirlpool cleans everything I put into it, and I have never had a problem.. I clean the filter once a year,,period. And never had a service call yet, and I only spent $500.00.. The job for a dishwasher is to clean your dishes, not to have you clean it.Save your money..but an American brand
how old is it because Electrolux bought them out and the products are not the same now.
did samsungs says this only happens with consumerreport test condition and not with real world everyday use ??? comsumerreport is a bully yet they aways seems to want to act as there are the victim
u pay all that money and u clean the filter yourself?! haha what a rip off, i understand the clog at very end filter every 6 months need cleaning but not the fucking filter after every wash.
+aminuk23 It is Samsung, it is cheap. Duhhh, off course you buy a Samsung...
Or that's pretty much what every Samsung fan says.
everything is cheap nowadays.
+bobbg except speed queens
Samsung appliances are not cheap at all..
OOOHHHH IT'S ON BITCHES! CR VS SAMSUNG ALL UP IN THIS BITCH SON.
***** Do not be upset about minor things like that. Also the word English is always capitalized when it's being used to refer to the language but you don't capitalize words after a comma. You should try English yourself.
***** I understood just perfectly fine. It's a dialect thing. I'm sure some people don't know what scally and bloke mean either. And bloody this and bloody that sounds corny to many people
$500 CDN Samsung Dishwasher now 5 years already and still haven't had a single problem. Alway scrape of the food and scraps before loading them and it will last a long time.
wat! u want me to pay all that money and then clean the gunk of that washer.....nopessssss
No one puts dishes THAT dirty in the dishwasher, cmon...
You don't know that. Other, cheaper dishwashers are able to handle it, so there is no excuse for this one.
How do you test which dishwasher is best if you give them all lightly soiled dishes?
Speak for yourself. Stupid people like you rinse everything clean, wasting water and time, before they load the machine. I don't and my dishes come out wonderful.
And this dishwasher costs more than a MIele! Pffft please. It should be able to clean cakefuls of food soil off of dishes
BroccoliBeefed it will jam the filter very quickly
actually, it's a well known fact that you only scrape plates etc. You never pre wash. as for jamming the filter, well, all ya got to do is clean said filter regularly.
Dang way fight samsung, all for defending the consumer too :)
Oah oh. Samsung failed this one. CR's testing conditions, not real world ,everyday use. lol peanut butter ,jelly pasta sauce are not "real world everyday" food.
Some Dung
Well most people don't leave half their meal on their dishes, soooo....
Samsung more like ass gum
Samsung is shit! The Frigidaire I use is better
Here i have a thing for consumer reports. You are supposed to scrub the dishes before they enter the dishwasher for just that reason. I am along with SAMSUNG. they have made outstanding appliances, and i would give them a 5 star rating.Yes the prices are high in a manner of speaking. I would not spend over 600 dollars on a dishwasher. 2500 or less for a refrigerator. 1000 for a stove, and 2000 for a matching washer and dryer.
I have that exact dishwasher, piece of shit! Samsung stove, piece of shit, Samsung refrigerator piece of shit, never again
Well because you guys left food on the plates ur supposed to wash it then put them in the dish washer
Technically did not fail the test they just overloaded the filter and they cleaned it & the dishwasher finished so how can it fail the test if it finished the test?
The problem isn't the error code on the dishwasher, it's that people are STUPID enough to pay $1,400 for a dishwasher. #Suckers
problem with today technology, its all about the how flashy it is, instead of being practicable at its job it was design for.
Get one with a self-cleaning filter man. What is this user clean BS?
Always get a dishwasher with a grinder, not a filter. Samsung dishwashers with grinders work well. Samsung's with filters, do not.
asians are noit very smart but they work hard and they give durable products, on the other hand, americans and europeans give new high end products that does not last one third of the period of Japanese/Korean makers. you take one specific products and criticize it.. go see your products first, an american car after 10 years will be as old as a 30 year Japanese car
