This is the voice I’d choose for myself, if I could. It’s a combination of integrity, authenticity, gladness and humility. I cannot wait to catch Colin live on the other side of this pandemic.
My wife and I had a great time at this gig. We only just arrived on time after getting stuck in roadworks on the M5 and M6 but soon calmed down as Colin got everyone involved by starting with Come Tumblin' Down and the hits, new songs and anecdotes just kept flowing for a great hour and a half then he stayed on to sign autographs and to appear in selfies for those that remained. Forever the ultimate professional, he started one song again after he hadn't reached the high standards he sets in himself (only he and die hard fans like myself would have possibly known he had made a mistake) i hope the whole show will be available to view soon, Always a great night out.
Great performer, great songwriter, great fellow. I've seen him only 3 times but shall be attending as many shows in the futures possible. His story about his prostate cancer touched a raw nerve in me and for that I shall forever be grateful. Thank you, Colin. Stay healthy.
we went to this gig. it was a 200 mile round trip through the rush hour and motorway roadworks but a great night as always. fantastic performer. classic Men At Work songs blended with solo greats, tracks from the new album plus loads of laid back stories from his career. Then he takes out time to do autographs and selfish with his fans. Always a great night.
Colin, you get better with each subsequent project. Your musicianship grows more enjoyable, your capo, chord and progression experimentation makes music feel new again and again and your vocals are just incredible. Thank you for changing my life with your unique and ever-changing blues-folk-rock fusion genius. After 13 wonderful albums I am still sure that your next, and may that be soon, will be all the more enjoyable as you have become a master craftsman of a singer/songwriter. Cheers to you and I look forward to my next experience in your audience!
This is my pick too. The most original, fresh material of the year from a man who started his career in 1978! Secret Love, Come Tumblin' Down, A Thousand Million Reasons--outstanding tracks, well-crafted.
Great clips Colin - reminded me of your session at the Sage Gateshead - keep on keeping it simple - just continue to sing and perform and we'll come along and watch and listen - good luck with the rest of your tour and we look forward to seeing you back on Tyneside again!
Very good set. I got hooked on your solo songs, first Maggie played on the 12 string guitar/mandolin, If I Had Been A Better Man and Beautiful World., Overkill, Land Down Under and many more. I play guitar and love your playing.
His live stuff is great the new album Fierce Money is way over produced for such simple catchy music like you hear with this solo show. Wonderful writer.

Reminds me of Maria
Beyonce can hire five hundred writers, producers and musicians and her music will never be in the same class as yours.
Hey Colin the sound doesn't sound too good on these recordings
