Just occurred to me, I'll bet you anything he's a "certified youth therapist" at a church. My friend's husband was addicted to porn and doing "marital counseling" at their church the whole time. I won't name his occupation but it's safe to say his day job and training have *zero* to do with counseling. It's a little scary who some churches will let play with this stuff. But all just a guess on my part.

Ok now tht i understand that part what i got to say is this the kids need way more then their parents raising them , they need juvi or to be in a deliquant home or wahtever the term of a place where troubled teens live convalecnce or ?? i thinkthere is t suc ha place ??? or cfs to do something i mean everyones saying unless the adults wrote those texts but the asian mother said she felt the kid was being abused im not trying to choose sides here but if the kid is speaking about her mother in that way either im not faimliar enough with just to the strong extent that some teens hate their parents who could die at any time or there is something very unstable about the son of the other couple the daughter, n perhaps the mother &maybe even the father of the daughter , or for that matter maybe all of them lol i mean its very wishy washy to act like such good parents the daughters parents n then sound like such evil people that the daughter wants to do that to them, either that or the daughter is very messed up hmmm which b4 the texts n realizing this i didnd think they seemed like bad parents i do think they maybe a slight over protective n to much of that well make a teen run away or most teens n feel to controlled and that seems to be wahts happened she had freedom at the other house but knew that she shouldnt be there when she found out they were coming there often n searching the house what a bunch of drama n such on both these parents whatever their names are , i m just so peprlexed but again either the daughters mh is making mountians of mole hills and shes overeacting n a very dark person who has absorbed the wrong things in life , the son to, or those parents arent great parents either , im not sure but it sure sounds like 1 the aisan mother never told the cops she was being abused the daughter but then why she told the judge this hmm i do wonder if it maybe true that fact though n so someone with a caring protective heart would try n protect the kid, it wasnt her job , she liekly didnt want to get cops involved as thats stressful n she maybe felt she could handle it but ya this was just mind boggling

They should have been charged with so much more than a single count of obstruction (and I wouldn’t be opposed to someone wiping that smug grin from the male defendant’s face. Hard.) I’ve heard the desperation in parents’ voices while their child is missing. They don’t sleep, they don’t eat, they barely function as they inevitably think up all the horrific things that might be happening to that child. I’ve also had cases that included those horrors, and ones who never made it home. That anyone would put someone else through that trauma is honestly one of the most appalling things I’ve ever seen - and I saw a lot working for NCMEC. As soon as he said he didn't want to lose his job for this, I already had a feeling he was putting the blame on his wife, especially when he basically insulted her with her heart being bigger than her brain. It clearly shows he feels superior to her and that she's submissive to him.
When at the end she said her husband was the one who did it, I wasn't surprised. She got spooked when they said she could go to prison for this. If he laughed in court for harboring a missing child in his home and actually smiled when the judge read those text messages, it's not that hard to see what's going on. She's even the one who had to tell him to stop laughing, but he didn't, which says a lot about who he is.
She clearly knew, but he most likely told her not to say anything to the police. It's still her fault for not telling the police, but it's strange that first she said she didn't know because she had work, but then went along with it when her husband blamed her, then backtracked at the mention of going to prison. It's a huge mess and a big divorce. I'm not one bit surprised he tried to throw her under the bus to save his own ass.
Also, I'm not surprised the daughter lied to the woman about "abuse" when those horrendous text messages about her own mother exist.

Trying to focus more on him not wanting to lose his job vs. the parents pain of thinking the worst happened to their daughter. Easily tossing his wife under the bus and easily saying his wife has more heart than brain and her not even flinching from that. Him continuing to allow the daughter into his house knowing full well as a "counselor" that action would continue to cause a rift. Him then trying to say he's not going to go against a judges order when he knows damn well the judge didn't order the daughter into his house, the judge just said it wasn't illegal for her to visit. And most alarmingly, he was smiling as Judge M read those atrocious texts between the daughter and his son and he ONLY looked worried or contrite when she focused on him. I GENUINELY hope he lost his job and can't find employment dealing with children and kids.

Yeah little does he know that she's basically a genius who graduated college early with honors, but who went on to work at Harvard Law, and then after that as an assistant State Attorney in Florida, and then ultimately landing herself the position of Circuit Court Judge in Miami County.... all at a young age. Younger than most.
So she IS a real judge. In fact, her particular brand of spiciness, humor and intelligence is what made her stand out amongst other judges and what got her the offer to replace Judge Judy's husband, Judge Jerry Sheindlin on the People's Court.
Most people don't know that Judge Judy's husband also had his own court show (the people's court) in the late 90s I believe

She is a real judge, but she's also a retired* judge. The bio you shared is interesting bc you noted that MM replaced Judge Jerry Sheindlin, but then you wrote that you "believed" he had his own(?) show, (TPC-is a Stu Billett production) in the late 90s, you "believe", lol. He was, in FACT, the Judge on TPC before MM took over in 2001, but Ed Koch was there before him, and Wapner was there before Koch.😉

@@heathernks8 read it again. I didn't say I believed he had his own show. I said "most people don't know that Judge Judy's husband had his own court show (the people's court) in the late 90s I believe".
I wasn't saying he was the inventor of the show, and I didn't say he was the first judge to preside over TPC... I was merely saying that, just like his wife, he also had a court show where he was the judge. And the only thing I said "I believe" about was that it was in the late 90s, which I was ultimately correct about.
Not sure what your point of coming at me was when every single thing I said was accurate and factual. And I never said judge Milian wasn't retired from the Miami court system. However she's not retired overall. She's still a judge... on this show. So her being retired from the Miami court system is irrelevant, as she's still a judge that presides over cases, whether they be on TV or not.
I said what I said because that guy in this episode implied that Judge Milian isn't a real judge... like he thinks she's just a television personality judge... Basically just an actress playing a judge or something; and that's not the case at all. She is a real judge. Thus, why I gave her credentials and back story for those who don't know. Because not only is she a real judge, she's actually extremely ambitious, intelligent, and broke barriers as one of the youngest female judges to ever be appointed in Miami. She's a Prodigy in my opinion.

I agree with all of y’all even tho the boy’s parents were 100% wrong n she deserves to go to jail Really both of them….but that lil girl has some deep issues n I think her parents are n real danger cuz the kids are plotting to kill them…but the boys parents seem to be encouraging it….

I can’t even imagine as a mom (I have a 14 yr old son) having to read that and know that’s how your kid feels about you. Even knowing there are some mental issues and it may/may not be real feelings. We all hate our parents at some point during the teenage years but that’s….not even close to normal. That sounds like a young Jennifer Pan.

WHILE the girl side are N.O any different, just look at her text messages and their conversations!!!

The defendant/husband is a piece of work. Considering what happened, his affect is baffling. His smirks, grins and chuckles indicate that there's something seriously wrong with his strategies when confronting difficult situations. I weep for the youth he supposedly "counsels". If it were up to me, I wouldn't let him near any kids. Hopefully, his boss/superiors see this episode and realize that he's -- utterly and completely -- emotionally incompetent.

Those texts were really scary and the couple`s daughter sounds out of control with psychopathic tendencies.
The girl urgently needs to go for a psychiatric evaluation because I believe the girl is capable of doing her parents some real harm, we hear about such cases often.

    • @endearmentthedoe1191

It’s not always abuse. Some kids are just troubled and need guidance. We’ve had to find a therapist for our daughter because, despite having a loving home, she’s quite violent when she’s angry and tends to flip at the most random times. I think this 14 yo has some SERIOUS problems and needs to be evaluated and kept away from that boy.

I have a very loving and caring mother and two sisters with mental health issues (also very loving but with a lot of issues)… when they have episodes or issues, they trash my mother and talk about of shit. To outsiders, they would assume that they are in an abusive household but in reality, they are just lashing out at anyone they can.
The point is, it’s not always abuse! Once my sisters come to their senses, they always apologize for what was said, but the damage and damage to my parents image is done.
Not saying it’s never abuse, but people need to stop assuming

i, think they were all at Fault. WHAT kind of daughter raised_up to type those messages. The parents are in- serious trouble, also WHY Jduge marily keeps put the blame on the boy's Mother when its the Father who's the abuser, the actual Villain and Violence here when ALL the mother does is Victim!!!
