Nice shots, the dusk makes the signals look a little red :) I've observed Taras entering the loop at Skerries and then just power through without stopping, possibly as a change in plan.
***** It's not a SPAD, as the signal changed to the red as soon as the locomotive past the signal which most signals operate like, it does look funny though as the yellow appears red in the video because of the low light!
your welcome and it sure was we cashed 088 from the Fairview Dart Depot to Alexandra Rd and then caught it a 3rd time at clongriffin and then we caught 083 at Harmonstown and darkened Fairview Dart Depot before i left to go home i'll have the video up next week fingers crossed :)
Joseph Newsome Yeah it's a pity it's now closed. Sometimes railtours stop there for a photo stop I believe, like the St. Canice Railtour during the summer and also on this occasion: eiretrains.com/steamindex/#DSE461_20140413_029.jpg
***** but i wasnt sure.. it this train around 2:00 a 'taras' too (that roar though)? maybe an empty one? not sure cause of the different types of livery there.. but the roar is nice too :D those GE's here in germany sound quite boring
Excellent stuff Seán, looks like someone was playing games with 088 up in CTC :P Myself and Stephen would've passed up on the 11.00 enterprise on our sandite trip.
Aw you should have, I a lovely shot of it passing Dalkey, and Kilkoole twice then another shot of it in Dalkey beore I got 086 taking the empty Cravens to Inchicore at Connolly.
Fantastic shots :)
Thanks Rob:)

Thanks Ciarán, it was actually great weather for filming by yesterday:) Was that still a SPAD or did he have permission to pass the signals?
