Today I explore the widows Haunted Abandoned house left frozen in time when she died and left everything behind.
Whilst exploring abandoned places I came across this abandoned house that looked like something from a horror movie, when I entered the abandoned house I found it was left as a true time capsule house. I discover the secrets hidden inside and even got the chance to find out if this house not only looked but actually was a true haunted house

Holy water goes in the wee thing hanging on the wall in the bedroom
The little table with the padded seat attached was known as a 'telephone table' usually in the entrace hall, as phone calls were very few back in the day. Alma and Ava (Arvay) are both religious terms used for prayers for protection. 'Paddy' is often used referring to Patrick or Irish. If Bridget was in bed upstairs or in the bed downstairs the smoke from the fire in the kitchen would have been enough to kill her. The 'alarm button' on the top landing by the stairs was a 'light button' you press this in and the button slowly releases out then clicks and the light goes off, these were used when electric lights were first installed to save electricity. Many houses or flats with several levels/floors had these installed and you had enough time to get to the next level push the next button before the previous light went out. The electrics looked like they would have been from the first installation and all the wiring would have been very dodgy. I remember when we changed from gas lamps in each room and had electricity unstalled in our old Georgian house in London when I was a child. Well done Adam you did so well with this, thank you 💕🇦🇺

Thankyou for the Alma reference. I lived on Alma Hill, Lancashire, and could never find out what the name meant. It has a 13th century church a few meters away. It makes sense that the hill was a blessed hill. Thanks again! 👍

Bridgett was def a very Catholic religious woman. The little cross hanging on the wall with the tiny pocket in front held holy water. Anytime you felt the need to cross yourself with Holy Water you dip your finger in it. ♥️ Love this home

My grandmother was Polish and I remeber spending time in my childhood before I moved to America at 14, she had those along with with the mandatory prayer beads and icons, statues and a lot of musical instrumemts in her big house and gardens outside of Warsaw.

Hi Adam one of the little statues you picked up in one of the bedrooms is the Pieta by Michelangelo to be found in Rome. It portrays Mary holding Jesus' lifeless body. I've seen it and it is beautiful x

The little figure with the little hollow well is for holly water . I can't believe he didn't know who the virgin mary was holding jesus in her arms ..
What a great explore! I like how you take the time to show us thing's that are all that's left of these dear people's lives. The pocket on the small crucifixion of Jesus is where you would put your holy water.

It is heartbreaking for sure to see good old houses deteriorated.
Those photos of the people who lived there and you could see what the room was like when they were living there, compared to when Adam went there, was so sad. Really poignant and actually made me quite emotional. Poor people, such a shame what happened to them. Along with the house.

12:07, they would've usually put holy water in the little dip, and it's interesting because the name Alma means Nourishing; Kind; Soul. So what you were told was there's a nourishing kind soul from the outside so she could've been referencing that you were a very kind person from outside also the term Ava was used a lot in the Bible which I thought was interesting as well and ontop of that the name Caroline means free man so what I got out of that was when you asked her if it was okay if you were in the house she responded saying " Your a nice kind soul person from the outside you are free to do what you wish, I'm agitated because I was injured and I was really religious and now I'm here and very lonely."

@Pelleonore I found it interesting that the spirit was using Bible terms to express her feelings, Ava also means "voice" or life." I feel like the biggest mistakes we do trying to communicate with the spirits we don't sit there and just chat with them, we don't say hey how are you doing? We immediately start asking them questions and to move things and making banging sounds when realistically all they want is to have someone to talk to

Another great one dude. My nanna had one of those wall mounted holy water, mini fonts in her flat! Pretty sure she had several bottles from knock too. Made me smile when you said " I don't know who that is" with the art work and statues. They were all Jesus. As a baby with Mary (the terrible perspective ones), after he was taken down from the cross and laid in his mums lap, sat on Joseph's shoulders as a toddler. They really loved their iconography! I think Pat and Bridget were in visitation and the ones protecting you. The rest of the spirits were from earlier like you thought.

It's so sad what happened in that house and it's very strange how much holy water was in the house. It makes you wonder if the family already had some kind of haunting going on before what the fire that took the lady's life.

In the "fancy" bedroom upstairs, the small figurine of a woman holding a man as he dies and labeled "PIETA" is a depiction of Mother Mary holding her grown son Jesus right after He has been taken down from the cross. I can understand the scratches on the wall, but the weirdest thing about the house are the claw scratches on the stair banister post. Perhaps a large crow got in the house and sat there? No way to explain those. You are very brave to go into these old places!!

I can never understand why the families that inherit these homes allow them to fall apart rather than donate them to a family who would give their right arm to have a house of their own...I would give anything to have a home of my own 😔...why can't people just do something nice for someone else rather than let a stunning home like that just rot, it's such a shame, its sad and very disappointing...😢
No one wants a haunted house
In Ireland, if you gift a house to a person, that person then has to pay stamp duty (essentially tax) to receive it. The amount of stamp duty depends on what the property is worth. Then you have to take in legal fees to make everything legal. So there's no such thing as a "free" house.
It is so unreal that this home is left alone, when you hear all the cars driving by. Great video. Done with care and respect.

Fire safety is so important, especially in these 100+ year old houses occupied by someone's granny. Really sad what happened there, from the looks of it the house was abandoned several years ago, odd no one new came in and remodeled the place.

Hi Adam. Loved this one. Got a couple of things. At 16:37, it sounds like someone wheezing, then heard a similar sound again at 21:58, but not sure about that one. There was a male voice at 24:08 that says ''I'm Lonely'', after it came up on your voice box, (forgot the name of it)..lol. Then just before you heard the knocks, the wallpaper moved, at 25:35. I don't think you touched it either, as it was behind you. Then at 31:05, there was a knock in reply to a question you asked. Very interesting video. Thanks Adam. Love from Ireland..

At 12.16 -12.18 the little “pocket” is a “Holy Water fount” so people can bless themselves. Perhaps they used the Knock Holy Water to fill it each day. Good job in asking!! It’s important to know the meanings of our Sacramentals that were given by our Heavenly Father.

I just found your channel. That was really interesting & I'm impressed by how respectful you are. I know it can be a bit nerve wracking in the moment (I've been on a few investigations) but it'd be good if you slowed down the questions a bit. It was amazing when Patrick & Bridgit said they were there, you could maybe have got a conversation going with them. But I'm being a bit picky because there's no way I'd have the nerve to do that by myself 😅. Do you try to get help for the ones that want to move on, eg from a local medium? That voice coming through did sound angel like. I recently downloaded the spirit box because ive been getting knocks and things moving off the shelves. Ive picked up spirits that are in my home. Have you ever tried doing it in your home? What do you do to protect yourself? Maybe leave something on that in your videos? I love the explores!
This will be very interesting to watch and who knows what surprises installed in this abandoned house. However Adam your exploring into abandoned property is worth to watch and you are well respected by not causing no damage to other people's property.
The little thing on the wall is called a font. Good Catholic families would have one of these in their homes in case they needed to bless someone. The holy water is placed in the trays so they can dampen their fingers with it to make the sign of the cross. The knock water is very special because it is where they believe miracles have happened, so this will have been used if they needed to make a special prayer for a friend who got sick. The hall table with the seat was where the house phone would have been. it will have had a big chunky wired phone and you would sit there away from the family to phone people. There would be a phone directory, yellow pages and a Thompson's local directory.
Here in Belgium and I was a child, they were in every house, and when you walked in, you dipped your fingers in the holy water in it an make a cross sign so everyone who came in were blessed to be in the house
My parents have a holy water font at the front door and they bless themselves as they go out. They bought me one as well. It's in a drawer somewhere.

My uncle, who was a builder, always said “never have ivy covered walls, it sticks to the walls and is difficult to remove and damages the brickwork” proof of which are these old houses you visit.

The tiny religious basin on the wall is for holy water. The bench with the "writing table" is for an old rotary style telephone and in the states is called a gossip bench. Love all your videos! Keep up the great work.

It is ashame really. Why wouldn't their relatives clear some of their possessions. At one time it was a beautiful home, I am sure. A lot of memories within those walls.
If you have the feeling that they need to cross over,close your eyes,take deep breaths in through your nose,out through your mouth,then imagine a doorway filled with bright,white,loving light.Ask for the persons family to step forward,at the same time,ask the person who needs to cross to walk into that light,tell them they have family waiting to take them to the other side...sometimes you will see this,sometimes you wont,ask them once they have gone into that light,to close the door and see it closing in your minds eye.....

I could probably go in them (most not all) 😂 but I’d soon be gone if I started hearing stuff knowing there was no one in there or getting that feeling 😊
I most definitely couldn't do it alone. I may be 42 yr old but i still get creeped out in the dark at times. Not the type who's afraid of their own shadow, but I've had a few negative experiences; as fascinated as I find haunted places NO way i would do it alone.
@@Helena_deV1975 . Same here, I get the creeps enough just watching videos of abandoned places. When younger I explored some abandoned places and thinking back I shiver, lol. You might already know about this channel but look up "This is Dan Bell". He mainly explored abandoned places around Baltimore Maryland but got around to other locales too. A lot of malls, motels, factories. Once in awhile he experienced something possibly paranormal but far and few in between.

At 6:15, that is a vintage phone table. The phone sat on the table part. The bench was there because the phone was stationary. My Great Grandmother had a phone table very similar to that. Her seat part was more chair size.

Its a holy water font on the wall. Holy water is put into it, it's normally located near the door so you can bless yourself leaving the house. Some bless themselves entering the house.

Absolutely amazing that that stuff is all left in there like that. That would not happen where I live. Anything that looked like it might be of any value would’ve been gone long time ago.
