Today I explore the widows Haunted Abandoned house left frozen in time when she died and left everything behind.
Whilst exploring abandoned places I came across this abandoned house that looked like something from a horror movie, when I entered the abandoned house I found it was left as a true time capsule house. I discover the secrets hidden inside and even got the chance to find out if this house not only looked but actually was a true haunted house

Hi guys, from Florida!!🌴🌴
@@drifter3166 Hi!!
Holy water goes in the wee thing hanging on the wall in the bedroom
Bridgett was def a very Catholic religious woman. The little cross hanging on the wall with the tiny pocket in front held holy water. Anytime you felt the need to cross yourself with Holy Water you dip your finger in it. ♥️ Love this home
Yes, you got that right. Holy water. Cool.
Ireland is Catholic.
Anybody raised Catholic would know that. My grandmother was Polish and I remeber spending time in my childhood before I moved to America at 14, she had those along with with the mandatory prayer beads and icons, statues and a lot of musical instrumemts in her big house and gardens outside of Warsaw.
love your reply 🙏🙏🙏
The knock water was holy water from the Knock Shrine in Ireland
I love how he is gentle and kind about the dear lady that was there before. You don't see such kindness like that these days. It does this old Marines heart.
Ahhhhhh bless your beautiful soul 🙏❤️
I absolutely agree with you Mr Rick.
After following Adam for while now I feel
that he has a kind and caring heart.
🎉
I agree with everyone on the comments about you Adam. You are so Very Kind and Respectful. Got a Big Heart. Keep it up . And God Bless You Adam.
I believe Bridget and Patrick were protecting Adam from a malevolent spirit
He is allways like this
The little table with the padded seat attached was known as a 'telephone table' usually in the entrace hall, as phone calls were very few back in the day. Alma and Ava (Arvay) are both religious terms used for prayers for protection. 'Paddy' is often used referring to Patrick or Irish. If Bridget was in bed upstairs or in the bed downstairs the smoke from the fire in the kitchen would have been enough to kill her. The 'alarm button' on the top landing by the stairs was a 'light button' you press this in and the button slowly releases out then clicks and the light goes off, these were used when electric lights were first installed to save electricity. Many houses or flats with several levels/floors had these installed and you had enough time to get to the next level push the next button before the previous light went out. The electrics looked like they would have been from the first installation and all the wiring would have been very dodgy. I remember when we changed from gas lamps in each room and had electricity unstalled in our old Georgian house in London when I was a child. Well done Adam you did so well with this, thank you 💕🇦🇺
Wow great information!
Thankyou for the Alma reference. I lived on Alma Hill, Lancashire, and could never find out what the name meant. It has a 13th century church a few meters away. It makes sense that the hill was a blessed hill. Thanks again! 👍
Hi Liz! I'm Liz too from Michigan. I love your interesing comment. It was full of information about the way houses used to be! So funny when you said: "Phone calls were few." Lol. Not like nowadays. 🤣🤪🥴
Great information Liz! I love the old homes, Im always interested to learn how some stuff was done back in the day👍Nice job!👍👍😊
Love this furniture
I find it heartbreaking seeing lovely old houses left to rot. It’s so sad.
To be fair this one should have been demolished . It's on the point of collapse.
@@Truth1561 No way, everything has beauty, but not everyone can see it!
That’s normal practice I. Rural ireland
I like how respectful you are to those who have passed in these houses and the houses themselves.
😂😂😂
When they feel stuck or trapped tell them to go to the light family will be waiting for them
Everyone has a Guardian angel. Maybe that is yours that is always with you.
I love that you called her 'the old dear' that lived here.
Olive, yes, that was very respectful of him to do so.
A bit disrespectful
@@AlexaLake1 no that’s actually a fairly rude English expression
@@emmedevlin5076 Really? Because he used the word "dear", I had thought he was being kind...my mistake.
Yes, he does call her " the old dear",and it can be used disrespectfully, however, it doesn't seem to be in this setting. It comes over more as term of endearment.
Adam Knock Water - Water blessed at Knock Shrine is valued and cherished by Knock pilgrims and few leave Knock without filling a container to take home with them. There are 18 outdoor Holy Water Fonts located in front of the Apparition Chapel. Pilgrims are welcome to bring their own containers to fill. Great episode
Thank you Karen for explaining that. Very interesting.💖
Where is this place? I never heard of “Knock Water” before. Water from Lourdes, yes, but Knock Water, no. 🤷♀️
@@Littlewolf13 Knock is in County Mayo Southern Ireland
I'll definitely check the shrine out on my next visit to Ireland to see me son, his family, my grandchildren and 2 great children and the many friends, in county Meath, village of Ratoth
Thank you for the information.
I have some in my home too!
It is heartbreaking for sure to see good old houses deteriorated.
Hi my name is Bonnie and I am almost 80 years young from Salt Lake City Utah. US enjoy your videos so much Adam you bring life back into a home. You bring memories back into a world that's the world is forgotten., You just came across an item. I believe in a bedroom and he asked what people would put in it. Was hanging on the wall so I stopped a video to make your comment. I believe it is to hold grocery groceries or holy water most likely holy water❤❤❤ Your videos are so interesting now I'll go back to finishing it. Thank you love Valley. I wish I could join and buy something from you and support you but I will be 80 years young just coming November.😅❤❤
Happy belated birthday! You seem like a sweetheart. Hello from Mississippi! ❤️
Abandoned, burnt, decaying and they still have so much more character than the modern homes being built these days.
If there were any spirits lingering, I'm sure they would be grateful that someone had a respectful interest in their home and life. Another great exploration.
Thank You for being so kind to what would have been.May the home owner REST IN ETERNAL PEACE.
Holy water went in the wall cup with Jesus on it
Here's the essence of those who devote to being a urbex. Before you enter, say in your own sort of way, something like this:
I want to thank you for allowing us to enter your home. I have the utmost respect and will abide by not removing anything or assuming. Blessings to you and yours..
I rarely see or hear that. ❤
You sound like an intelligent person.. such a beautiful house, he’s doing a good job. I like his channel. Hope you’re doing well with your family Marie?
He won’t do that - these are basically scavenger hunts for "spirits" and other things.
It is terribly sad to see the remnants of this ladys life. I do hope she is resting in peace!
“Look at it now though, she’d be fuming!” Made me LOL 😊
Yeah i replayed that bit a second time. Some of the stuff our mate comes up with eh. In another Explore, he says the Spirits "Facked off" 😂
Hi Adam one of the little statues you picked up in one of the bedrooms is the Pieta by Michelangelo to be found in Rome. It portrays Mary holding Jesus' lifeless body. I've seen it and it is beautiful x
Yes I noticed that too. Very beautiful I agree. It needs to be rescued along with the icon
The little figure with the little hollow well is for holly water . I can't believe he didn't know who the virgin mary was holding jesus in her arms ..
What a great explore! I like how you take the time to show us thing's that are all that's left of these dear people's lives. The pocket on the small crucifixion of Jesus is where you would put your holy water.
When the necrophonic said “Paddy and Briget are here” it made my heart jump/ache…bless their souls. I hope they are resting in peace together. Xxxx ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm saying a prayer for this pretty house, that someone comes along and fixes it up before it;s gone. I'm sure the ghosts would like that. She obviously loved her home, she decorated it nicely. 🎀
Love how caring and methodical you are slowly viewing the personal items in these list buildings.
When he said "I should be wearing gloves," I instinctively said, "You shouldn't be touching anything!"
It saddens me to know they are lonely. I’m wondering if they know that they have crossed over. Please try to help them.! x
How would one? I was a bit taken aback that someone who said he was a good Christian is not settled in the next life.

@@cecilysharrock678 Perhaps the afterlife is not what you expect it to be.
@@cecilysharrock678 Because religion isn't real. It is devised by man to oppress others.
12:07, they would've usually put holy water in the little dip, and it's interesting because the name Alma means Nourishing; Kind; Soul. So what you were told was there's a nourishing kind soul from the outside so she could've been referencing that you were a very kind person from outside also the term Ava was used a lot in the Bible which I thought was interesting as well and ontop of that the name Caroline means free man so what I got out of that was when you asked her if it was okay if you were in the house she responded saying " Your a nice kind soul person from the outside you are free to do what you wish, I'm agitated because I was injured and I was really religious and now I'm here and very lonely."
That sounds beautiful
@Pelleonore I found it interesting that the spirit was using Bible terms to express her feelings, Ava also means "voice" or life." I feel like the biggest mistakes we do trying to communicate with the spirits we don't sit there and just chat with them, we don't say hey how are you doing? We immediately start asking them questions and to move things and making banging sounds when realistically all they want is to have someone to talk to
@@Medicgames94 the sprit did say they were religious, but yes def interesting.
But I agree, there comes a stranger the first thing they ask is How did you die. Like damn, gimme a second
Rosaries were kept there
aww
So sad to see that old woman holding the newest member of her family in that photograph
It would great to be able to pass the pictures on to the surviving members of that family
Tragic end to her life and her home
Quite heartbreaking ❤
Those photos of the people who lived there and you could see what the room was like when they were living there, compared to when Adam went there, was so sad. Really poignant and actually made me quite emotional. Poor people, such a shame what happened to them. Along with the house.
6:18 telephone table 7:52 from the knock shrine there are 18 holy shrines in Ireland 12:12 angel number number the same it was used to put holy water in necro :- 31:09 I’m coming ! slow the time stamps down 31:20 a female voice as you was speaking said please help me ! xx
It is so unreal that this home is left alone, when you hear all the cars driving by. Great video. Done with care and respect.
Near the end just after the necrophonic says leave, you can hear a woman's voice whisper "The place is on fire."
The place is on fire ... very clear😮
I heard it too
S
Hi, what was the time stamp for that please? I’ve been trying to listen for it but can’t make it out? Great place. Must have been terrifying for the poor woman 😢
heard it to
It's so sad what happened in that house and it's very strange how much holy water was in the house. It makes you wonder if the family already had some kind of haunting going on before what the fire that took the lady's life.
And her husband falling down the stairs and dying!
I think she was just quite religious, but who knows.
Fire safety is so important, especially in these 100+ year old houses occupied by someone's granny. Really sad what happened there, from the looks of it the house was abandoned several years ago, odd no one new came in and remodeled the place.
I'd never be brave enough to go in them places alone like you do.
I wouldn't even enter the house when there were more people. It would still freak me out.
@@Helena_deV1975 that's true I like watching them do it on RUclips but I wouldn't want to be there in person.
I could probably go in them (most not all) 😂 but I’d soon be gone if I started hearing stuff knowing there was no one in there or getting that feeling 😊
I most definitely couldn't do it alone. I may be 42 yr old but i still get creeped out in the dark at times. Not the type who's afraid of their own shadow, but I've had a few negative experiences; as fascinated as I find haunted places NO way i would do it alone.
@@Helena_deV1975 . Same here, I get the creeps enough just watching videos of abandoned places. When younger I explored some abandoned places and thinking back I shiver, lol. You might already know about this channel but look up "This is Dan Bell". He mainly explored abandoned places around Baltimore Maryland but got around to other locales too. A lot of malls, motels, factories. Once in awhile he experienced something possibly paranormal but far and few in between.
Praying that they cross over peacefully. Then they can be with family and friends. They seemed to trust you. I ❤🙏🏼
Injury , then blood on floor.. perhaps she fell going down the stairs when she realized house was on fire and that’s why she didn’t make it out? Another great Sunday explore!💕💕
her husband died falling down the stairs.
I think Patrick was the one who died from a fall and Bridget stayed there alone after.
She died from smoke inhalation but she likely found her Husband's body poor thing
I love how you said old dear, for a lot of people can be disrespectful, but you are from England for other they can say or think what they want but you my dear you are the most respectful and kind to the deceased and their belongings, thank you so much for sharing another great video. ❤
Its amazing how little time it takes for a property to start going rotten after its been abandoned.
Once the roof is compromised, game over
Awesome explore Adam!!! The little cup on the wall is for Holy water...so sad to see these old homes waste away...❤️😘
I like how respectful you are. You should wear a mask as mold pores can be a big health problem down the road. Glad I found your channel
Another great one dude. My nanna had one of those wall mounted holy water, mini fonts in her flat! Pretty sure she had several bottles from knock too. Made me smile when you said " I don't know who that is" with the art work and statues. They were all Jesus. As a baby with Mary (the terrible perspective ones), after he was taken down from the cross and laid in his mums lap, sat on Joseph's shoulders as a toddler. They really loved their iconography! I think Pat and Bridget were in visitation and the ones protecting you. The rest of the spirits were from earlier like you thought.
Agree!
Adam you obviously are not Catholic. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.)
I’ve only seen water from Lourdes here in NY. Never heard of “Knock” before this.
''i don't know who that is?''.....pitiful.
@@williamdewarrenne5848 if you aren't raised in a religious home, why would he automatically know?
How lovely to call the deceased lady 'Old Dear' - nice one Adam.
Fascinating yet bittersweet. She must have taken such care with her household, yet this is what happens after she is gone.
Anxiously awaiting. You make Sunday's something to look forward to.
I really appreciate the fact that you can see the beauty in the home, and you’re very respectful. Wonderful job 😊
I wish you were able to help these spirits. One of them said they were stuck and that is sad. This was a good explore Adam. Please stay safe, you never really know who you are communicating with. 🙏🏻

@@mojochi100 Very comforting indeed !
In the "fancy" bedroom upstairs, the small figurine of a woman holding a man as he dies and labeled "PIETA" is a depiction of Mother Mary holding her grown son Jesus right after He has been taken down from the cross. I can understand the scratches on the wall, but the weirdest thing about the house are the claw scratches on the stair banister post. Perhaps a large crow got in the house and sat there? No way to explain those. You are very brave to go into these old places!!
The necrophone talk brought tears to my eyes. This was so powerful.
I'm loving the Work you do Adam me old mate. When you called the lady of the House "Darlin'" it warmed my heart. So sweet. 🤝👍 Please put your bloomin' gloves on though fella. That white mould can't be good for ya'. I mean mould's mould. 😂 When you said it could've been an Animal, but saying you doubt it cause it's on request. Great video, Adam! I really enjoyed watching you walking through the house. Your comments and detailed descriptions almost make me feel like I’m right there with you. I’m glad that I’ve found your channel, good sir!😊👍
That’s exactly how I feel!!! ♥️
when you look back on comments the spirits replied to you... it did say Paddy was there and blood. you said at the start he died falling down the stairs. that could be the blood. so sad about the fire, which killed Bridget his wife, although she looked pretty elderly in those pictures to start off with. thanks Adam for a great Irish Explore
My uncle, who was a builder, always said “never have ivy covered walls, it sticks to the walls and is difficult to remove and damages the brickwork” proof of which are these old houses you visit.
I love your comments as you go around...".look at it now, she be fuming" and "this picture needs work"...😂😂😂....
You definitely looked freaked out by the end of this video. And it was probably best you left before anything sinister happened. Can’t wait for your next adventure, love it. 😊

The little thing on the wall is called a font. Good Catholic families would have one of these in their homes in case they needed to bless someone. The holy water is placed in the trays so they can dampen their fingers with it to make the sign of the cross. The knock water is very special because it is where they believe miracles have happened, so this will have been used if they needed to make a special prayer for a friend who got sick. The hall table with the seat was where the house phone would have been. it will have had a big chunky wired phone and you would sit there away from the family to phone people. There would be a phone directory, yellow pages and a Thompson's local directory.
Here in Belgium and I was a child, they were in every house, and when you walked in, you dipped your fingers in the holy water in it an make a cross sign so everyone who came in were blessed to be in the house
My parents have a holy water font at the front door and they bless themselves as they go out. They bought me one as well. It's in a drawer somewhere.
The "wee chap" on the bedside table looked like a statue known as the child of Prague
Growing up Catholic with an Irish mother all this stuff like Holy pictures and such seems normal, and all your friends houses would be the same. You never think about how strange it seems to non Catholics
That's a Pieta of the Virgin Mary holding-her son, Jesus, after he's being brought down from the cross. The original is in Rome. It's beautiful.
I love how Gentle he is too! With the Lady...
Absolutely amazing that that stuff is all left in there like that. That would not happen where I live. Anything that looked like it might be of any value would’ve been gone long time ago. Thanks for sharing that. And that house is, as you said, absolutely gorgeous. If I lived near there, I would buy it and that would be my home.

Great explore Adam. I like how calm you are and the respect you show to what has been left. Too bad nobody took over this lovely home after the fire. 👍👍👍
I love how nature starts to reclaim
I can never understand why the families that inherit these homes allow them to fall apart rather than donate them to a family who would give their right arm to have a house of their own...I would give anything to have a home of my own 😔...why can't people just do something nice for someone else rather than let a stunning home like that just rot, it's such a shame, its sad and very disappointing...😢
No one wants a haunted house
In Ireland, if you gift a house to a person, that person then has to pay stamp duty (essentially tax) to receive it. The amount of stamp duty depends on what the property is worth. Then you have to take in legal fees to make everything legal. So there's no such thing as a "free" house.
This will be very interesting to watch and who knows what surprises installed in this abandoned house. However Adam your exploring into abandoned property is worth to watch and you are well respected by not causing no damage to other people's property.
