I rail fanned ED all during the 1970s-80s and trains went on doing their yard moves and switching much faster than this !!! Seems like they move in slow motion now !!!
Nice to see those two GP-9s still in service on the old B&M. They were built in 1957! MEC 52 (B&M 1726 at the time) was involved in a wreck at one point and was pretty badly damaged.
Just to help, also #52 GP-9 MEC Heritage " Twin Stripe Livery " was ST #52, B&M #1826, B&M #1726. MEC only GP-9 before Guilford was GMD #450 which was ex Algoma Central #171 in Canada bought by MEC in 1981 and is Canadian built by GMD, later was ST #21 in 1987.
Those paint jobs are very nice, but they sure as hell didn't belong on former 1700's. Should have been painted to the original colors etc. On the other hand who the hell cares???

Hope that info helped Bill. : )
Those heritage units are gorgeous. In the first shot I think I see a loco in B&A livery in the background near the MBTA coach.
Could it get any more boring than that?
