I noticed that Hester seemed a bit restless during the photo shoot while the other horses were perfectly at ease. Then I remembered she is younger than the others. It must have been fun for her to hang out with the grown-ups. And Waloubet showed what she's made of. Maybe the Fresians will start to accept her if she hangs out with them more. Can't wait to see Rising Star jump like that! 😍

It was great to see Waloubet out getting exercise outside. The horses seem to deal with her better while riding. I think they're just jealous of her athletic abilities. She is a very beautiful high functioning horse.
I thought the same thing, they *do* get along better while riding. It must be different when people are on them riding them, like a different mindset - "We have to be good, the humans are riding us!" I wondered what the Friesian horses were thinking when they saw Waloubet jumping. And then they looked for her and called out to her. Maybe it'll just take a bit longer for them to warm up to her. She is beautiful!
@@pamelameckley5040 yes, I thought putting her out to pasture with them after a ride might be a good idea. But I realized Uniek wasn't with them and she and Sjors lead the herd. So.... maybe not.

This is by far thee best now the best of 2 videos i have ever watched on youtube...the first being Unique meeting and accepting Rising Star with her adopted new son. This video made me quite shockingly made me emotional...the land is so beautiful and your friends co workers are like your family they are kind good and very pure of heart sweet souls and the stunning horses who truly love you all and love being in the woods cantering and enjoying their life living the very best life they possibly can because you each have made it so. Goetzoe you made the best video what a breath taking land...such beauty can only match the hearts and souls of every person in this video. You all look like your purpose in life your best life has come to exactly where you are....so many new adventures to unfold for you all....just like the woods here you are all presenting yourselves as being on that right path. I love how when Waloubet jumps and then goes out of sight, they all call for her, but in the pasture Sjors won't let his Mares near her!! She's a beauty!! This is such a lovely video to wake up to you know I love ALL your posts Yvonne I must admit that I have missed seeing footage of long rides like this it makes me feel like I’m there enjoying it with everyone. Friesland seems like such a beautiful place to live a riders paradise with all the trails and lush green forest not to mention the beach all of which are sorely lacking here in dry Arizona. The entire 24 minutes was a pleasure to watch I enjoyed it all and of course without fail there’s plenty of Stal G humor there’s something for everybody here. I particularly loved seeing Waloubet move shes a beautiful jumper and I can’t wait to see what Risy’s future has in store as he gets older thank you for a wonderful video Yvonne it’s the perfect way to start my Friday morning.💚💚🐎🐎🌟🌟

I almost feel like I’ve been out for a trail ride after watching this; thank you for taking us along. Brings back so many wonderful memories of when I used to ride. Considering my advanced age and multiple back surgeries, watching this is as close as I can get to my once favorite activity but I love watching you all ride! 🥰
We can appreciate what a production it is to get 4 horses loaded up, saddled up and mounted up for a trip to the trails then back again, but from this far-away viewer's perspective, it was well worth the effort! The lovely horses, the lovely forest, the neatly-tended trail (even the branch debris carefully piled off to the side), the well-filmed video, and the apres-trail relax time at home in the lovely meadow with the darling foals. Not just a treat for horse lovers: This should be a part of a Friesland travel promotional movie for the tourist industry! It was fun too getting a new take on the Stall G horses -- and humans. Rein so brave dropping his reins ("Look Ma! No hands!") on Hester's first forest outing (she's brave too, didn't seem scared a bit), and so relaxed cat-napping on the picnic table. Geertje having fun, smiling all the time, flexing her "Wonder Woman" muscles, and doing the heavy lifting. Looks like Walou & Myrthe make for a nice trick-riding circus act. And looks like Sjors was very interested in where his filly-friend Hester spent the day (does she smell like a fresh green forest?)
From a very early age (3) I first rode then worked and rode at my uncles riding academy. I would often accompany other riders on trips over the property including a woodland much like this. I met my wife there on such a ride about the age of eleven. I didn't know it then but on our first official date in college, I went to her house to pick her up and meet her dad. When I went to the door he greeted me and said I looked very familiar (blonde hair). I said I don't think we've met. He said yes we have, you taught my daughters to ride and accompanied them at the riding academy. He said with a smile, "I was a little 'precocious' then." I told him not to worry, I would take very good care of her. It was love at first "sight" and we were married 52 years. I did take very good care of her and her of me. So, these were my thoughts on this lovely woodland ride. RIP
The horses that go on the outings in the forest or beaches seem to really enjoy their time away. I love watching Reintje's ears swiveling in excitement at the new sounds and scents. This trip out was particularly fun with Walobet joining in and that jump was very fun. Maybe Myrtle is correct and Rising Star will learn to be a jumper. So nice to have Geertje join the three of you for a day of fun.
Aha,!!! If Myrthe can do all on waloubet, i wanne see her jumping backwards on walou! Lol😂 but walou is such a beautiful jumphorse. I hope risy also will become a good jumphorse.

This video made me quite shockingly made me emotional...the land is so beautiful and your friends co workers are like your family they are kind good and very pure of heart sweet souls and the stunning horses who truly love you all and love being in the woods cantering and enjoying their life living the very best life they possibly can because you each have made it so. Goetzoe you made the best video what a breath taking land...such beauty can only match the hearts and souls of every person in this video. You all look like your purpose in life your best life has come to exactly where you are....so many new adventures to unfold for you all....just like the woods here you are all presenting yourselves as being on that right path. Well done i am so proud of your endless passion for being the very best because you are without hesitation so willing to give all you have you give your very best to these beautiful horses and clearly to each other. I love how when Waloubet jumps and then goes out of sight, they all call for her, but in the pasture Sjors won't let his Mares near her!! She's a beauty!! This is such a lovely video to wake up to you know I love ALL your posts Yvonne I must admit that I have missed seeing footage of long rides like this it makes me feel like I’m there enjoying it with everyone. Friesland seems like such a beautiful place to live a riders paradise with all the trails and lush green forest not to mention the beach all of which are sorely lacking here in dry Arizona. The entire 24 minutes was a pleasure to watch I enjoyed it all and of course without fail there’s plenty of Stal G humor there’s something for everybody here. I particularly loved seeing Waloubet move shes a beautiful jumper and I can’t wait to see what Risy’s future has in store as he gets older thank you for a wonderful video Yvonne it’s the perfect way to start my Friday morning.💚💚🐎🐎🌟🌟

I almost feel like I’ve been out for a trail ride after watching this; thank you for taking us along. Brings back so many wonderful memories of when I used to ride. Considering my advanced age and multiple back surgeries, watching this is as close as I can get to my once favorite activity but I love watching you all ride! 🥰

Geertje is so funny ♥️ All the people at Stall G seem so nice
We can appreciate what a production it is to get 4 horses loaded up, saddled up and mounted up for a trip to the trails then back again, but from this far-away viewer's perspective, it was well worth the effort!
The lovely horses, the lovely forest, the neatly-tended trail (even the branch debris carefully piled off to the side), the well-filmed video, and the apres-trail relax time at home in the lovely meadow with the darling foals. Not just a treat for horse lovers: This should be a part of a Friesland travel promotional movie for the tourist industry!
It was fun too getting a new take on the Stall G horses -- and humans. Rein so brave dropping his reins ("Look Ma! No hands!") on Hester's first forest outing (she's brave too, didn't seem scared a bit), and so relaxed cat-napping on the picnic table. Geertje having fun, smiling all the time, flexing her "Wonder Woman" muscles, and doing the heavy lifting. Looks like Walou & Myrthe make for a nice trick-riding circus act. And looks like Sjors was very interested in where his filly-friend Hester spent the day (does she smell like a fresh green forest?)
From a very early age (3) I first rode then worked and rode at my uncles riding academy. I would often accompany other riders on trips over the property including a woodland much like this. I met my wife there on such a ride about the age of eleven. I didn't know it then but on our first official date in college, I went to her house to pick her up and meet her dad. When I went to the door he greeted me and said I looked very familiar (blonde hair). I said I don't think we've met. He said yes we have, you taught my daughters to ride and accompanied them at the riding academy. He said with a smile, "I was a little 'precocious' then." I told him not to worry, I would take very good care of her. It was love at first "sight" and we were married 52 years. I did take very good care of her and her of me. So, these were my thoughts on this lovely woodland ride. RIP

The horses that go on the outings in the forest or beaches seem to really enjoy their time away. I love watching Reintje's ears swiveling in excitement at the new sounds and scents. This trip out was particularly fun with Walobet joining in and that jump was very fun. Maybe Myrtle is correct and Rising Star will learn to be a jumper. So nice to have Geertje join the three of you for a day of fun.
