These were mostly North Carolina, Alabama and Georgia boys, although they could have joined a regiment with relatives who lived in one of those states
A lot if my relatives were also from South Georgia, and many from the the 50th and 20th Georgia.
Their commander Paul Semmes was killed in the ravine where Plum Creek cuts through.
They also saw action on Day 2 in the Wheatfield and near Devils Den - according to the 50th Reg battle account.
I hope that helps you in any future investigations.

1st time seeing your channel, Good Job, if you had gone past the house toward the lower field jump the fence and crossed the horse trail thats the field were they buried the bodies and were Gardner and his team took the photo's on July 6/7 showing the bodies layed out for burial. (also were the horses graze from the horse tours) we went too that area during the 159th and found the exact spots of were the pictures were taken using Frassanito's book "Early Photography at Gettysburg" and the only activity we had during that trip was battery drainage on the camera's by the 2nd MA monument by Spangler Spring. Going back for the 160th and both WW2 Weekends (July/Sept)

Hey thanks for watching! I love Rose Farm my favorite place at Gettysburg! I do sessions on battlefields often. I love civil war history. There’s a playlist on the channel called battlefield sessions if your interested! I did go around back but sadly it was very windy that day and the wind coming of the wheat field was strong. Ruined the audio. I’ll be going back for another visit soon. Gettysburg isn’t far from my house. Thanks for watching! And your feedback!

James Getty was fun too. took about 6 months for everyone to stop calling me "1 of them blue belly" or "Transplanted Yankee" lol

@@pasadenaparanormal3756 so 1 thing we did at Spangler's Spring was in the field 1 of our crew she dressed in CW widow dress (Black) and walked the field by the spring. we got on film a green orb the came across the field circled around her ankles twice and took off back across the field, on another trip 2 of crew got caught in the fog by the Indiana monument and we lost them for over 30 min. 1 was curled up in a ball crying the other just standing in the field, neither 1 ever went back on the field after dark or too this day said what they saw
