- A surprise delivery from DPD yesterday - my first couple of Mk2B coaches from Accurascale.
Unfortunately I’m back at work today, so only time for a quick look. Got to say I’m very impressed with the detailing & the lighting, no dark spots here!

Great shots, thank you. These are just on another level from anything before. Gives me a problem as I'm just starting out again after a break of 36 years! Cant buy anything other than Accurascale coaches now as nothing else will match up! Just need some decent MK2Ds on the market next... 😉

These coaches are lovely bits of kit, I’ve got some older Bachmann, Hornby & Oxford rail Mk3’s which all have their merits.
I’m thinking if you want to add lighting, close coupling etc the Accurascale are pretty unbeatable for the money. There’s a few more on preorder here, so I’m thinking that I will sell some of the older stock on to make room & recoup some funds.
