Not a bad episode. Tanner really made it! Even the old episodes are really amazing because of the punchlines! If you just work on the setup a little more it would be the perfect parody show to crossover with, even Rick and Morty!

I see this coming back. I know some shows take many years to finally go into development. I just worry about a big company ruining it like what happened to Goran the Horrible. They through money at it and killed it with stupid studio interference.

I loved the series but this pilot lacked the essence that Clock Suckers once had, a bunch of losers that, instead of profiting from a time machine, waste their time playing video games. The original series had a lot of 80’s and 90’s references as well, while this episode felt quite generic, at least compared to other cartoons. On the other hand, the personality between the three main characters was very well written. Why does Kate here concern herself about being popular? That theme might suit Ben, since he is a manchild, but not Kate. She had more like a nihilistic approach to things, which made her a fun character to chill with. And then, we had Tanner, the low life zero ambitions kind of guy. Finally, I'd say that the previous type of drawing fit the show better. You know, that old school internet vibe that made it all look even more pathethic. Nevertheless, not trying to discourage anyone here. In fact, I’d really love to see the series back, but just the way things were presented before.
I can see why this pilot didn't take off for MTV, first off there was NO way the rawness of the original animation was gonna make to television and second the overall new style just fell way off from the original...I mean their time machine is a coin operated "rocket thing", WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BATHTUB!!!! Honestly though they should give it try with a much another BETTER pilot and pitch it to Netflix, something close to the original.

Gotta be honest, I liked the old voice better. And the animation. More stilted, yes, but the more fluid animation looks jarring in this style

We kept them out of the pilot to simplify the initial storyline
They have names the robots name is grid & the dog name is rocko.
