Overall migration is much less this year overall for Sind. So far the sightings on major areas are lower. Since there is much less snow on the mountains this year a water shortage is expected for next year. That will further affect the wetlands in the delta area.

So Don't Allowed to Hunting and Shooting on Migratory Birds. The Migratory Birds plays an important Role in our Ecosystem. Also help to Maintain the Ecosystem Habitat. Many Hazardous insect's and other parasite are eaten by these Migratory Birds. So it's My Humble Request Please Don't Allowed to Hunting and Shooting on these Migratory Birds because it is the Beauty of Nature And Natural Enemies of hazardous insects that is not reliable for Crop's.
Agreed with your thoughts, I suggest the SWL department should be more strict is issuance of hunting licences and be vigilant to stop unauthorized hunters who with the help of locals hunts in those areas. Secondly SWL should launch a campaign and take the locals on board to discourage those unauthorised hunters. Through the campaign they educate the locals how important are these birds for their environment and to their life. Once the locals understand importance of the birds the hunting will automatically subside.
