Father Nathan, as far as I know you are the only catholic priest who openly talks about NDE and the after life, how I wish there were more like you in the church; greetings form Lima, Peru

There are few things as addictive as listening to NDE stories, particularly after enlightenment for the experience aligns perfectly... as everything always does.

Father Nathan, you made my day with this interview. Two of my favorite people in one podcast! Both of you like wordplay and both of you have intelligent things to say. It was interesting to hear you are both introverts. I feel most introverts are good listeners. I suspect Dr. Moody and his first book opened up the world to the current awakening he was talking about towards the end of the podcast. Two things I came away about him that I didn't realize is that he is a humble person and a religious person. I can relate to his upbringing because I too had a very minimal religious teaching. I can see why God chose you both to spread the word about the good news.

This was a timeless visit to the kingdom of God. Divine insights, like "the greatest prayer is to surrender," because it disables your ego. Also that demons are loved by God.
Also Plato & Socrates, my heroes! "The Apology of Socrates" also refers to the "life after life," where Socrates is waiting to be executed at age 70 & refuses to break out of his prison, like the senators & his friends expected & hoped he would agree to do. His friends visit for that purpose & find him happily napping. He wakes & says he had had pleasant dreams of where he was going. He hoped to talk with Homer, Pythagoras etc, there. He found it illogical to fear death.
I so appreciate the confessional humanness you both bring, & the mix of problems with divine joy & surrender. My folks read "Life After Life" in our Episcopal church's adult ed when i was 9 or so. I read it when i found it on the kitchen table, & never doubted the unseen realm from then on. I have had many visits from people i know, when they die, before i learned they had just died. I think they go around to say goodbye, but rarely get noticed.

NDE'S and my own experiences helped me to leave my prior beliefs and interpretations of what man thinks of the Divine source/God. My observations of NDE'S makes more sense than what I was reading and being told by Christian teachers/preachers. Many, many, many discrepancies in the Bible story. Near death and past life experiences make perfect sense.

I'm so happy; I ordered your 2 books and the first one is on it's way; it might be here TODAY! How in the world did you get Dr. Raymond Moody on your show?? I've never seen him on anyone else's show, or podcast, I kinda thought it was hard to do - you're full of surprises, Father!! Keep up the great work!!!👍😊

I've read Plato's Phaedo numerous times. And just finished reading Book X of Plato's Republic yesterday.... Yeah.... No wonder Raymond Moody is obsessed with Near Death Experiences. I'd be too if I read that stuff in the 1970s before RUclips. Plato's stuff was written 2500 years ago. And it checks out with what people report about NDE's today. 😳 But you got to read that stuff yourself. Because there's no RUclips videos or second hand explanations that can accurately explain it.
