Man, nothing hits like Manilla Road. I always appreciate when I can hear the bass on an album too. I love Mark's unique voice. At first, I was like, "This is like the voice everyone does when they imitate a nerd," but it didn't turn me away. I've always liked unconventional vocalists. Rock n' Rolf from Running Wild, Lemmy from Motorhead, Ozzy from Black Sabbath, and Mark Shelton. None of them have what one would traditionally call a great voice. That's the great thing about metal. Often times, passion triumphs over cynicism. I just love things that are different and Manilla Road stand out and have clearly impacted the metal world by helping to pioneer the epic heavy metal genre.
4 years ago I saw these titans live... First time I saw a band and cried from happiness during their performance. R.I.P. Mr. Shark, thank you for all the great music, we will always remember you.
i got into Manilla Road in the early 2010s and was hooked instantly, me and my friends blasted this album and this song in particular at all our drinking sessions, so much memories attached to this. Thanks for all the good times, Mark the Shark, the world is not the same without you.

he always reminds me of an old fashioned folk singer, I get a similar vibe from Terry Jones of Pagan Altar now that I think of it
Best metal vocalist ever is considered to be Jon Oliva, but Shelton is among the best!
Beautifully worded, thank you.

Great song, always thought Manilla Road should've been much bigger in the States, I didn't even discover them until last winter.
R.I.P. Mark "The Shark" Shelton ( 1957 - 2018)

How exactly do you slay demons with logic? Crystal logic at that?
Because you can, that's how.

Too bad the singer sometimes sounds like if he was bored. Besides that, awesome.
