Nice setup ! I us a two keg set up that I built and use a PID and two water heater elements to heat it . I also have a 60 gal pot still heated with propane and am working on a colum still 30 gal. I'm interested in your cooling method for my fermenter thanks for your video
word of caution, those unions have traces of brass in them, where they are positioned inline with hot vapor its possible for brass leaching to occur. If vapor was already cooled to lower temp before the copper unions then brass leaching MAY not occur. just solder a female fittings instead of the union then just stick it in firmly when you go to use it, then apply flour and water paste mixture. Works just as good and millions times safer. happy distilling
+Lars Bang Rasmussen I do not control the speed of the coolant through the system, it is possible to control the speed of the coolant pump. I run the pump at full speed and control the speed of the cooling fans on each radiator separately. thats how i control the temperature.
you always need to separate the first 5-10% due to the compound distilled not been the proper alcohol, but ethyl, and can cause a series of neurologic issues.

How did you make the bubble plates?
you are trying to make neutral grain spirits?
Great looking setup. :) How effective is the cooling system? What have you used as coolant? Run-through speed?

Thanks. Could you please tell me where you bought the heatsinks?
Looks way to Labour intensive for product return,

Looks good an all. But you’ve over complicated it
You don't need to throwaway the heads in this small of a setup, you're losing ALOT of product.
