How to nerf Pizza Party (the main things): 1. Better eco system. We all agree on this, THE DEVS AIN’T COOKING WITH THE GARBAGE ECO SYSTEM, GIVE US BACK SHARED CASH! 2. A bunch of enemy nerfs: a. Remove a lot of no stun & no freeze modifiers from enemies. b. Wox the Fox’s health is getting a 100,000 health decrease, meaning it now has a health of 350,000 (this is based off the fallen king’s increase).

If anyone is wondering why the cash issue is so awful in Pizza Party, the gamemode was ORIGINALLY BALANCED around the LEGACY ECONOMY SYSTEM, which gives money based on damage dealt. The devs just changed it last minute so that it used the new economy system
apparently this was balanced by an actual tds player (someone told me this was confirmed on the discord but tbh i couldn't find it so take this with a grain of salt)
Genuinely feels like the devs just dont know what to do with ground towers anymore. The way eco works punishes them even worse than cliffs or unit spawners, they have zero defense to any of the debuffs present like range, firerate, and stuns. and unlike cliffs and unit spawners, heavily rely on supports to be even usable. We use to have answer for this and it was medic. But for some reason the devs are content with the way medic is right now. No one uses her anymore, the way debuffs and stuns are spammed now make it so her cleanse is useless as they are spammed, some debuffs cant even be cleansed anymore or stuns like frozen. Even worse she wasn't on the list of reworks present on the upcoming 2025 plans. its such a shame because she truly would be an answer to the excessive use of debuffs present in these modes.
Yeah it really sucks how bad ground towers are compared to cliff and flying rn. even if its something like engineer thats somewhat stun immune there still is the fact that its range is just SO MUCH WORSE compared to ranger, pursuit, and stuff like that and its DPS is not much higher to compensate for this.
Ground towers are still necessary and you need them because a lot of them are genuinely S+ tier. If the high-range and stun immune META got nerfed you would see how good they really are. I don't know how you can say they're "content" with the way medic is rn with such confidence. Maybe they're just waiting for the rework? Also just because they didn't put her on the list for 2025 doesn't mean they won't rework her.
EVERYONE seems to complain about the cash system, but the devs are either ignorant or they are just so out of touch with the community that they don’t hear it. Honestly kinda sad imo

I'm level 320 and I think it is a little bit too hard. I barely beat it with a quad level 200+ so I would like it to be a little easier. Not too much but a little!
Matchmaking with randoms in this game mode literally stinks, either not enough DPS or nobody brought a certain support. I'm lvl 300+ and I still get paired with people around lvl 50
imma list a *few* issues here for fun -the eco is so ass (mostly with more people), chances are you won’t often get the money you need to place enough dps to win in the first place -the level requirement is level 25, you haven’t even unlocked fallen yet and you’re allowed to play this absolute nightmare of enemy spam. you haven’t even unlocked CROOK BOSS yet at that point, how the hell does one beat pizza party like this? -“oh boy, i sure love using electroshocker and freezer! stalling towers are awesome!” the 200k hp worth of no stun no freeze enemy spam: -pzp requires ALL 3 DETECTIONS now. hidden, flying, and lead. it’s the first main gamemode to do this since HARDCORE, which INTRODUCED two of those detections in the first place. speaking of, hardcore requires level 50. pzp needs HALF of that, meaning you aren’t able to even unlock hardcore towers when you unlock pizza party. new players? what are those?? never heard of em -PLEASE get rid of the HIDDEN BLOATED REAPER on wave 39. what was the thought process behind putting that there? also, NERF EXE PLUSHIE. if you nerf the rest of the gamemode or fix the eco or something, it can keep the same initial hp it has, but REMOVE ALL OF ITS SHIELD HP. i don’t want to deal 50k damage to an enemy just to earn NOTHING from it. please 🙏 basically, just bring back the “legacy” eco, up the level requirement for special gamemodes to 50 or something (especially when badlands 2 and pw2 mini reworks release), stop giving EVERY ENEMY no stun and no freeze, and replace exe plush’s shield hp with normal hp, and it’ll probably be fine!! right?
Actually it's more fun all the end Game players agree with that it's harder and fun but yeah they need to nerf some things like the hp from executioner
I now like the addition of old enemies from events but what i dont like, is having leads now as it makes it a ton harder. Also the additions of no stun and no freeze for no reason on almost all enemies
i'm fine with the lead enemies, so many towers have lead detection anyways and i like them actually using the detection that have only been in hardcore for the longest time
They need to nerf pizza party. It cool that they added enemies from the lunar overture event and they made it harder then fallen, but the devs made it way to hard to beat especially dealing with the executioner plush that had a lot of shield hp.

This is my cash system: In duo, if you deal 25000 to enemy 2 people will rewards 20000 cash. In trio, if you deal 25000 to enemy everyone will rewards 20000 cash (duo same trio and trio same quad). If you deal 10000, 1 people deal 5000,1 people deal 4000, 1 people deal 6000 everyone will rewards 20000 cash. Wave rewards, bonus cash is the same as in solo. Enemy have shield hp, double health, bloated not give cash until everyone deal damage to main hp. ( I'm is Vietnamese so my English is bad 😅)

nimble doesn't change the HP of the enemy OR the eco. 50% defense can be completely ignored or just melted. You'll still receive around the same amount of cash. Bloated enemies should honestly be a challenge. Imagine making something 2x stronger to try and make something harder just for it to give you a crap ton of cash. The solo and duo eco is perfectly balanced but trio and quad need some tweaking first.
@@meghollows fallen jesters are predictable you just need to counter them and shut them down before they can do a crap ton of damage. A lot of people just don't know how to handle fallen jesters and it's genuinely insane; they don't even want to learn how, they just continue crapping on it. Airstrikes from milibase and gatling make fallen jesters a lot easier to deal with.
Tbh , I like this change they do to this game mode, it das súper easy before, now its offer a better challenge before, but the real problem its the lack so strategy for the people to use some op towers in the right way, like fr guys, i know some people haves no good towers but remember well, its a simulator game, you need to farm coins to get the good towers,and after you get them, you can beat this now, some people are mad cuz they old strategys are not working anymore, making to do a new one for every change, and after adjusting to the difficulty, it just get simple to get a better way, remember to make a good strategy and think the most important waves to deal with it with your team. Edit: we should know whats something its super hard or its unfair guys, come on, We have learned this after the first released of hc and lunar overture act 3, just try again and again to figure if its possible to do a easy way to get the win or not, then we send our reviews to the developer team about whether the difficulty is wrong.

The pizza party was supposed to be a special mode that was easier than the other special modes. At this point, if we keep up with these difficulty scaling, there will be 3 gunslingers and a 3 mil hp nuclear monster. I just don't see how they are going to make hardcore and the other modes harder than this.

They need to lower the health of some enemies especially the minigunner, reaper, executioner, etc. cuz they be moving to quickly with those bulky health in a short map or just nerf their moving speed.
The fact there are "meta' towers that should be used or you die in the first place already exemplifies the issue here. Too little diversity of loadouts, caused by high hp enemies with/without enemy spam and filler spam with absurd eco system
rip to lvl 25 ppl that needed warden for it, also huge problem with pizza party for a casual lvl 25 player is they require these things: accel, engi, any gold towers, mortar, ranger, pursuit, most of lvl 25 players wont even have those requirements and what makes it worse is the fact that they're not getting warden nor getting slaughter warden skin in order to completely use him. the entire point of doing pizza party is to just get a good teammate as a lvl 100+ player while for lvl 25 players? NO. you just cant win 100% without those requirements and what makes it worse is molten monster basically being obtainable through holiday crate gambling or battlepass while nuke its just 100% gambling from spinning the wheel or any of the 3 grade crates. also i dont like how you barely know when sock puppet appears because it'll just SWIFT with a speed of 10 to your base if you dont have any good defense.
I feel like it's fine. Pizza Party being only a slight buff from old fallen and being easier than new fallen was absurd. They made it fun and interesting and even added old event enemies that were pretty cool. Although they did NOT cook with the new eco system. Also I feel like they will not buff badlands into oblivion, they buffed pizza party to this level so that it would be on the same level as badlands
Damn. Im glad i beat lost souls with some friends when pizza party came out. I like how hardcore is easier considering the money you get scales from the amount of damage you do to an enemy's hp, sharing it accordingly across all players. Meanwhile...yeah, you basically get fraction of what you normally would've gotten back then. Seriously, they should revert back the old system. I have ZERO clue how new players are even gonna consider playing tds now.
Honestly, the thing I hate mostly bout the rework is the eco system. I don't mind them reusing old event mobs. (even tho i don't mind, it would be cool if they added some of the new plushie skins as mobs) The map just needs to be reworked, it way to small for the current gamemode now.
Honestly the mode wouldn't even be that bad if not for how many lead enemies there are. Either give the players more cash or remove the early lead enemies because there's no way to deal with them both reasonably.
Imo Pizza Party was supposed to be able to be beaten without hardcore or special towers, basically, a somewhat easier fallen but still a bit punisheable due to the high amount of enemies because to get warden, you need to beat the gamemode first, after the rework warden is just not worth it, which sucks because warden is a good melee tower
I don’t see many other people have issue with this, so I guess I’m gonna have an unpopular opinion here. I feel like another massive issue with Pizza Party (And Special Gamemodes as a whole) is the cheap mutation modifier. Instead of making difficult waves, they just artificially make the mode harder with Mutation. The idea that enemies and bosses can get a huge health boost after being introduced is so asinine and lazy in terms of game design. Plus, Pizza Party’s rework seems to just buff enemy health to begin with, making them even more frustrating to deal with when Mutation exists.
Man I'm so lucky because I got Wox's logbook before the mini-rework. That's probably because I loved to grind Pizza Party. Now I better get Gunslinger's and Nuclear Monster's logbooks before they rework their gamemodes
I noticed how the gamemodes seem to be more difficult now, especially pizza party. Like idk what's happening xd It cant be skill issue though cuz I could easily beat badlands, pw2, and fallen with randoms, and it is so difficult to max towers now, I could easily max towers with just level 3 farms back then, but now I am forced to max out all my farms and even then, it wont be enough to get all my towers maxed. I could bring accel and engi and some other supps and dps, but now I can only bring 2 supps, elf camp, and engi is my main dps now ;-;
going all pain in reworked pizza party just for warden? I mean warden..... he in the basement, barely appearing in average rounds with others. He wasnt used very much since he was overshadowed by brawler and sledger. 15 place limit which might cost lot to max all of them out. DPS is still good but when it comes to upgrade it and micro it... yeah thats annoying to see your cash gone again. I feel bad for those who want to get warden just to feel the pain of buffed lunar overture enemies and wox making you instantly lose
I agree with all you said except the fact that hardcore right now is so outdated you should've compared pizza party with hidden wave instead which currently has 70 compared to pizza party (NOT LOST SOULS WHICH HAS 0 BTW) which has 68.
the regular mode ain't that bad. The only problem would be lost souls its literally impossible to beat without nukes or molten monsters, to add more, the devs decided to give us a harder experience for experienced players. This mode is not impossible and is even soloable because of the video megaladon posted. Overall, we should keep the mode how it is but in return for a better reward when beating it.( change lost souls tho)
I think comparing the badges won doesn't mean much, because previously pizza party was a shoe-in, and therefore way more players had the pizza party badge than the hc badge at the time of the rework. So after the rework, the reason more people are getting the hc badge is because way less people had the hc badge to begin with, whereas most people beating the pizza party rework already had the badge. Also, I played one trio match of the rework and won first try (I did have to use a nuke on w40 though). And it wasn't like me or my teammates were using mortar, ranger etc. I was using a goofy firework/shotty loadout with necromancer, and my teammates were using accel. It didn't feel that difficult.

@@senderk4712 yes and less people have won pizza party for the first time in the last 24 hours because most people already had the badge and therefore cannot earn the badge for the first time. Additionally, anyone who didn't earn the badge before the rework is probably quite unskilled at the game, making our sample pool of players who can beat pizza party for the first time after the rework a group of players who are statistically way less likely to beat any mode compared to most players.
just make eco better, normal pzp is pretty easy when your in a quad or trio, which is kinda how its supposed to be played. Lost souls should probably get a whole overhaul for the modifier, maybe make all enemies stunnable but wox has a lot more hp to make up for it?

I think I would make the Aggro abilities for Commander and Reaper last for 2 or 3 seconds because they tend to use them alongside those sick puppets that move at the speed of light. Just my opinion tho.
i actually beated in 25 mins using accel's but it's way harder to GET LOST SOULS badge. either someone who has the skills can proof us in squads or other mode it's still possible to beat or not
Call me delulu, but imo, I disagree with some points like the game mode being harder than hardcore and looking like a "requirement". Hardcore is meant to be THE hardest mode, but because it's outdated as hell, it's just easier to beat, even in solos, but it's getting reworked soon, so it's most likely gonna be harder than the pizza mode itself, and 2, the mode is hard, you're supposed to have better towers or good late game towers in order to win a difficult mode, there's already tons of examples from many other modes for this too, so if the mode gets easier, people might start complaining because that's just the TDS community, and people will start playing the mode less often again. The only things that are understandable is the horrible money system when killing enemies, and the amount of enemies immune to stuns
According to balancers the gamemode was balanced around the legacy economy system which would’ve made the gamemode way easier than it is now, but right before release the devs added on the new eco system without their knowledge
i get that it’s supposed to be hard and require good towers, but keep in mind, special gamemodes have a level requirement of 25. LEVEL TWENTY-FIVE! you don’t even have CROOK BOSS at level 25!! you can’t even PLAY FALLEN at lvl 25!! this wasn’t changed with the update either, meaning there are level ~30-40 players in pzp matchmaking trying to beat this monstrosity of a challenge before unlocking hardcore. how did they mess up THIS badly man??
I beat lost souls a while ago, but now pretty much ANYONE else can't get it. Just bring back old eco system, remove halloween enemies, (Seriously it doesn't fit the theme of pizza party) and at this point, just bring back the old pizza party.
Feel like devs are going make every gamemode have the same Difficulty as Lunar Overture and I also think that they do not hire playtesters to play their game

new pizza is even harder than any other gamemode, You cant even maxed all towers at last wave, even hardcore gives cash for every void reaver’hp lost. I had like few games, and what i got at last wave is 3 max pursuit 1 max dj, 4 max mortars, although i maxed farm at w17-20.
It think its better balancing if its easier fallen, you know for the noobs but if you can pick the mode in any map which you should it should become harder

The NEW cash system man, its so awful that it doesnt deserve to be called Tower Defense if you're needed to kill all enemies before the wave ends. You're missing on every crucial money when you just tank the zombie with the base HP. That's what Tower Defense supposed to be, not every gameplay is going to be perfectly smooth. But they just REFUSED TO LISTEN and KEEP ON GOING WITH THIS DOGBAD CASH SYSTEM THAT'S BARELY OPTIMIZED.
Honestly only the executioner plush needs a nerf, as even though wave 1-30 boss waves are hard, its manageable but the exe plush on wave 35, is extremely hard and it comes again on wave 40, and the exe plush is so much harder then Wox as id you beat the exe plush wox is free. Though, i still think it should get much easier, (nerf wave 31 to 40), but the exe plush is specific needs a huge nerf
The thing is, during that era, towers use to be much weaker than it used to, so the term "impossible" is an understatement more so the meta back then was weak compared to what we have now. And the mode itself is literally almost impossible it's like its meant to be played it solo instead of squad
Just buff a bit the cash we gain if we kill ennemies... Like boss or other... And it will be a bit more easier but also cool... I like the hard dificulty and i dont want to have a very easy mode but i want a hard things... Saying "its harder than hc" is a very low bar to set. HC is the most outdated mode and was balanced around 2020-2021 TDS so it's not a good decision to compare the two. The ecosystem got buffed too so I'm happy. Also iirc the QA who balanced this mode said that they slapped no freeze and no stun because they didn't want the stalling meta to cheese everything. For once you have to think outside of the box by bringing in military base, merc base or necromancer to counter them OR use towers with unique range mechanics like gatling and pursuit. Heck, even trapper could be good if you spam it. Also I don't think I need to go too in depth about the point about the META. You're literally using Gcow (and commander but I won't count that). There are also only a handful of towers and only ONE place to put them on the entire map. The solution is just to use ground AND cliff towers instead of only one. The cliff tower META is alright with me but imo they should do something with the stun-immune and long-range META. I want to end off by saying the difficulty of this gamemode isn't too bad, it's just the META and ecosystem that need a MASSIVE change. TDS is clearly planning to add harder gamemodes which is great and I'm all for it, they just need to look into the other aspects of the game such as the balance first.

Im gonna be honest, IDK why but i dont find it useful, Duo is bareable event without special towers and quad eco is, bad at most but its nothing you cant deal with. an honest issue i have tho is the excesive use of lead making ranger, pursuit and mortar even more requiered than they already are.
its hard but its not that hard, just use engineer, her dps is enough and she detects everything. use pursuit and ranger with her too, she can easily handle the early and mid game enemies and then handle the late game as well with the other towers.

i get buffing the mode, but buffing it to make it seemingly impossible without special/long range towers or heavy consumable use, that is just dumb.

If anyone is wondering why the cash issue is so awful in Pizza Party, the gamemode was ORIGINALLY BALANCED around the LEGACY ECONOMY SYSTEM, which gives money based on damage dealt. The devs just changed it last minute so that it used the new economy system

Genuinely feels like the devs just dont know what to do with ground towers anymore. The way eco works punishes them even worse than cliffs or unit spawners, they have zero defense to any of the debuffs present like range, firerate, and stuns. and unlike cliffs and unit spawners, heavily rely on supports to be even usable. We use to have answer for this and it was medic. But for some reason the devs are content with the way medic is right now. No one uses her anymore, the way debuffs and stuns are spammed now make it so her cleanse is useless as they are spammed, some debuffs cant even be cleansed anymore or stuns like frozen. Even worse she wasn't on the list of reworks present on the upcoming 2025 plans. its such a shame because she truly would be an answer to the excessive use of debuffs present in these modes.
Yeah it really sucks how bad ground towers are compared to cliff and flying rn. even if its something like engineer thats somewhat stun immune there still is the fact that its range is just SO MUCH WORSE compared to ranger, pursuit, and stuff like that and its DPS is not much higher to compensate for this.

Necromancer is a great tower. Even when stunned, it can still build up its soul meter
Ground towers are still necessary and you need them because a lot of them are genuinely S+ tier. If the high-range and stun immune META got nerfed you would see how good they really are.
I don't know how you can say they're "content" with the way medic is rn with such confidence. Maybe they're just waiting for the rework? Also just because they didn't put her on the list for 2025 doesn't mean they won't rework her.
EVERYONE seems to complain about the cash system, but the devs are either ignorant or they are just so out of touch with the community that they don’t hear it.

Matchmaking with randoms in this game mode literally stinks, either not enough DPS or nobody brought a certain support. I'm lvl 300+ and I still get paired with people around lvl 50

This is my cash system: In duo, if you deal 25000 to enemy 2 people will rewards 20000 cash. In trio, if you deal 25000 to enemy everyone will rewards 20000 cash (duo same trio and trio same quad). If you deal 10000, 1 people deal 5000,1 people deal 4000, 1 people deal 6000 everyone will rewards 20000 cash. Wave rewards, bonus cash is the same as in solo. Enemy have shield hp, double health, bloated not give cash until everyone deal damage to main hp. ( I'm is Vietnamese so my English is bad 😅)

nimble doesn't change the HP of the enemy OR the eco. 50% defense can be completely ignored or just melted. You'll still receive around the same amount of cash. Bloated enemies should honestly be a challenge. Imagine making something 2x stronger to try and make something harder just for it to give you a crap ton of cash.
The solo and duo eco is perfectly balanced but trio and quad need some tweaking first.
@@meghollows fallen jesters are predictable you just need to counter them and shut them down before they can do a crap ton of damage. A lot of people just don't know how to handle fallen jesters and it's genuinely insane; they don't even want to learn how, they just continue crapping on it. Airstrikes from milibase and gatling make fallen jesters a lot easier to deal with.

Tbh , I like this change they do to this game mode, it das súper easy before, now its offer a better challenge before, but the real problem its the lack so strategy for the people to use some op towers in the right way, like fr guys, i know some people haves no good towers but remember well, its a simulator game, you need to farm coins to get the good towers,and after you get them, you can beat this now, some people are mad cuz they old strategys are not working anymore, making to do a new one for every change, and after adjusting to the difficulty, it just get simple to get a better way, remember to make a good strategy and think the most important waves to deal with it with your team.
Edit: we should know whats something its super hard or its unfair guys, come on, We have learned this after the first released of hc and lunar overture act 3, just try again and again to figure if its possible to do a easy way to get the win or not, then we send our reviews to the developer team about whether the difficulty is wrong.

The pizza party was supposed to be a special mode that was easier than the other special modes. At this point, if we keep up with these difficulty scaling, there will be 3 gunslingers and a 3 mil hp nuclear monster. I just don't see how they are going to make hardcore and the other modes harder than this.

I'm happy that i atleast did Quickdraw and Lost souls before those mini reworks, those mini reworks are painful...and the fact that Pizza Party now have enemies from Lunar Overture event makes me...a bit angry because of the fact that me just like most of people were struggling to get Jester because it was very op before it got nerfed

They need to lower the health of some enemies especially the minigunner, reaper, executioner, etc. cuz they be moving to quickly with those bulky health in a short map or just nerf their moving speed.

The fact there are "meta' towers that should be used or you die in the first place already exemplifies the issue here. Too little diversity of loadouts, caused by high hp enemies with/without enemy spam and filler spam with absurd eco system
rip to lvl 25 ppl that needed warden for it, also huge problem with pizza party for a casual lvl 25 player is they require these things: accel, engi, any gold towers, mortar, ranger, pursuit, most of lvl 25 players wont even have those requirements and what makes it worse is the fact that they're not getting warden nor getting slaughter warden skin in order to completely use him. the entire point of doing pizza party is to just get a good teammate as a lvl 100+ player while for lvl 25 players? NO. you just cant win 100% without those requirements and what makes it worse is molten monster basically being obtainable through holiday crate gambling or battlepass while nuke its just 100% gambling from spinning the wheel or any of the 3 grade crates. also i dont like how you barely know when sock puppet appears because it'll just SWIFT with a speed of 10 to your base if you dont have any good defense.
I feel like it's fine. Pizza Party being only a slight buff from old fallen and being easier than new fallen was absurd. They made it fun and interesting and even added old event enemies that were pretty cool. Although they did NOT cook with the new eco system. Also I feel like they will not buff badlands into oblivion, they buffed pizza party to this level so that it would be on the same level as badlands

Imo Pizza Party was supposed to be able to be beaten without hardcore or special towers, basically, a somewhat easier fallen but still a bit punisheable due to the high amount of enemies because to get warden, you need to beat the gamemode first, after the rework warden is just not worth it, which sucks because warden is a good melee tower
I don’t see many other people have issue with this, so I guess I’m gonna have an unpopular opinion here. I feel like another massive issue with Pizza Party (And Special Gamemodes as a whole) is the cheap mutation modifier. Instead of making difficult waves, they just artificially make the mode harder with Mutation. The idea that enemies and bosses can get a huge health boost after being introduced is so asinine and lazy in terms of game design. Plus, Pizza Party’s rework seems to just buff enemy health to begin with, making them even more frustrating to deal with when Mutation exists.
Wave 30 -40 Is have to be A Problem But It can Be Hard to Get the wox Logbook good thing i Grind Wox the fox logbook before it get a mini rework

I noticed how the gamemodes seem to be more difficult now, especially pizza party. Like idk what's happening xd It cant be skill issue though cuz I could easily beat badlands, pw2, and fallen with randoms, and it is so difficult to max towers now, I could easily max towers with just level 3 farms back then, but now I am forced to max out all my farms and even then, it wont be enough to get all my towers maxed. I could bring accel and engi and some other supps and dps, but now I can only bring 2 supps, elf camp, and engi is my main dps now ;-;

I agree with all you said except the fact that hardcore right now is so outdated you should've compared pizza party with hidden wave instead which currently has 70 compared to pizza party (NOT LOST SOULS WHICH HAS 0 BTW) which has 68.
If this is what they call a rework, i recommend everyone to grind out 10k gems before hardcore rework.
the regular mode ain't that bad. The only problem would be lost souls its literally impossible to beat without nukes or molten monsters, to add more, the devs decided to give us a harder experience for experienced players. This mode is not impossible and is even soloable because of the video megaladon posted. Overall, we should keep the mode how it is but in return for a better reward when beating it.( change lost souls tho)
I think comparing the badges won doesn't mean much, because previously pizza party was a shoe-in, and therefore way more players had the pizza party badge than the hc badge at the time of the rework. So after the rework, the reason more people are getting the hc badge is because way less people had the hc badge to begin with, whereas most people beating the pizza party rework already had the badge.
Also, I played one trio match of the rework and won first try (I did have to use a nuke on w40 though). And it wasn't like me or my teammates were using mortar, ranger etc. I was using a goofy firework/shotty loadout with necromancer, and my teammates were using accel. It didn't feel that difficult.

Additionally, anyone who didn't earn the badge before the rework is probably quite unskilled at the game, making our sample pool of players who can beat pizza party for the first time after the rework a group of players who are statistically way less likely to beat any mode compared to most players.
just make eco better, normal pzp is pretty easy when your in a quad or trio, which is kinda how its supposed to be played. Lost souls should probably get a whole overhaul for the modifier, maybe make all enemies stunnable but wox has a lot more hp to make up for it?

Badlands rework will definetely require war machine and mecha base with 4 nukes and 4 experiment monsters

[1] - No Freeze modifier getting removed for Shotgunner and most enemies because this does not allow support towers like electroshocker or freezer to be used which is total bullshit
[2] - Executioner Plushie getting it's shield decreased by 20,000
[3] - Wox Appearing a bit late in the last wave instead of straight up spawning after 5 seconds
[4] - Monkey's spawning more i know this is increasing the enemies but they feel forgotten they spawn for a few waves and dip
[5] - Wox having it's health butchered by a total 100,000
[6] Free 10,000 Cash pay at wave 35
[7] Shotgunner spawning delayed until wave 18
[8] Executioner Plush only spawning when Wox spawns so we can handle with the rest of the stuff before dealing with wox and the plushie
[9] Base health increase to 250
[10] Citizen Plushie having it's health decreased by 50 or lowering the amount the wave it first spawned
[11] Umbra Plushie having it's health decreased by a total 2,000 because? it's a corpse enemy that's super fast and tanky (12k hp i think)
[12] Add corpse modifer to knight (some of them)
[13] Commander when using it's call to arms (enemy commander) will get a aggro modifer for 5 seconds
[14] Reduce bloated enemy counts
[15] Minigunner health decrease by 5,000
[16] Reaper's Health Decrease by 3,500 and summons health decreased by 1,000 but reapers now have the chance to become aggro for a few seconds like a sub ability
[17] In wave 40, you are given around 5,000 + Wave clear bonus being 2,525
[18] Umbra plushie corpse can sometimes turn into aggro
[19] Monkey can be nimbled, bloated and have the corpse modifer now

Call me delulu, but imo, I disagree with some points like the game mode being harder than hardcore and looking like a "requirement". Hardcore is meant to be THE hardest mode, but because it's outdated as hell, it's just easier to beat, even in solos, but it's getting reworked soon, so it's most likely gonna be harder than the pizza mode itself, and 2, the mode is hard, you're supposed to have better towers or good late game towers in order to win a difficult mode, there's already tons of examples from many other modes for this too, so if the mode gets easier, people might start complaining because that's just the TDS community, and people will start playing the mode less often again. The only things that are understandable is the horrible money system when killing enemies, and the amount of enemies immune to stuns

I beat lost souls a while ago, but now pretty much ANYONE else can't get it. Just bring back old eco system, remove halloween enemies, (Seriously it doesn't fit the theme of pizza party) and at this point, just bring back the old pizza party.

new pizza is even harder than any other gamemode, You cant even maxed all towers at last wave, even hardcore gives cash for every void reaver’hp lost. I had like few games, and what i got at last wave is 3 max pursuit 1 max dj, 4 max mortars, although i maxed farm at w17-20.

Imp, pizza party should be harder than pw2 because it is the final mission in the special gamemodes, it would make sense for it but at least nerf some of the wave structure man its too hard

I just hate how dark the map is especially if ur playing on potato phone, then ur dead, u need to place things as much as possible and so in late g ur just gonaa ups all ur tower
The NEW cash system man, its so awful that it doesnt deserve to be called Tower Defense if you're needed to kill all enemies before the wave ends. You're missing on every crucial money when you just tank the zombie with the base HP. That's what Tower Defense supposed to be, not every gameplay is going to be perfectly smooth. But they just REFUSED TO LISTEN and KEEP ON GOING WITH THIS DOGBAD CASH SYSTEM THAT'S BARELY OPTIMIZED.
Took me and 3 other lvl 250s to beat it without consumables. If this issue PIZZA PARTY imagine hardcore.

Honestly only the executioner plush needs a nerf, as even though wave 1-30 boss waves are hard, its manageable but the exe plush on wave 35, is extremely hard and it comes again on wave 40, and the exe plush is so much harder then Wox as id you beat the exe plush wox is free. Though, i still think it should get much easier, (nerf wave 31 to 40), but the exe plush is specific needs a huge nerf

I see how many ppl say about lvl requirement 25 but remember about pw2 and bd2 that also impsibl to beat at lvl 25 why everybody forgetting about this
The thing is, during that era, towers use to be much weaker than it used to, so the term "impossible" is an understatement more so the meta back then was weak compared to what we have now. And the mode itself is literally almost impossible it's like its meant to be played it solo instead of squad
Just buff a bit the cash we gain if we kill ennemies... Like boss or other... And it will be a bit more easier but also cool... I like the hard dificulty and i dont want to have a very easy mode but i want a hard things... Then they should not debuff ennemies but just give us more cash for more upgrade tower because this is just the problem with actual pizza party

Saying "its harder than hc" is a very low bar to set. HC is the most outdated mode and was balanced around 2020-2021 TDS so it's not a good decision to compare the two.
The ecosystem got buffed too so I'm happy.
Also iirc the QA who balanced this mode said that they slapped no freeze and no stun because they didn't want the stalling meta to cheese everything. For once you have to think outside of the box by bringing in military base, merc base or necromancer to counter them OR use towers with unique range mechanics like gatling and pursuit. Heck, even trapper could be good if you spam it.
Also I don't think I need to go too in depth about the point about the META. You're literally using Gcow (and commander but I won't count that). There are also only a handful of towers and only ONE place to put them on the entire map. The solution is just to use ground AND cliff towers instead of only one. The cliff tower META is alright with me but imo they should do something with the stun-immune and long-range META.
I want to end off by saying the difficulty of this gamemode isn't too bad, it's just the META and ecosystem that need a MASSIVE change. TDS is clearly planning to add harder gamemodes which is great and I'm all for it, they just need to look into the other aspects of the game such as the balance first.
I mean.... Me personally. Hardcore is way too easy these days. With powercreep and stuff like that. So if anything is harder than hardcore. It kinda makes sense,
Im gonna be honest, IDK why but i dont find it useful, Duo is bareable event without special towers and quad eco is, bad at most but its nothing you cant deal with.
an honest issue i have tho is the excesive use of lead making ranger, pursuit and mortar even more requiered than they already are.

its hard but its not that hard, just use engineer, her dps is enough and she detects everything. use pursuit and ranger with her too, she can easily handle the early and mid game enemies and then handle the late game as well with the other towers.
''just use engineer'' if using the most expensive gem tower is your defense, I wish you luck on the hc rework
