Question: If you reversed the MPlate, would it stick magnetically to the phone? Reason I'm asking is I want to simply slip this Mplate inside a sleeve I have so that my phone can stick to the outside of the sleeve, essentially pinching the fabric between the Mplate and my phone, and therefore, sticking to my sleeve.
hey...I want record video with my iphone 15 pro max externally to a SSD and I want to magnetically secure the SSD to the mag safe case I have for the phone. I was thinking I could stick one of these rings tothe back of the SSD and then just attach the drive to the case and when not needed just detach it from the case...will this mag safe rings work? This ones seem to be to make the non mag safe case into one but will it work for my described purposes? I Know that a thin layer of metal attached to the SSD drive could work but if these rings attach nicely it would be better...thanks
@@Shan_Shah Alcohol dissolves adhesives so you just have to put some alcohol on the magnets, let it sit for a couple of minutes and it comes off easily without any scratches. If you like changing your cases often, it’s easier to stick the magnets to your phone instead of buying magnets for every new case you get.
Is what you say at 1:25 true? The sticker has magnets on board? As far as I know, Apple's MagSafe system has the magnets defined with the accessory and not with the phone. In the phone it is always the metal ring without magnets!?
IDK if this is gonna be a silly question... its my first time using something liek this.. to my understanding that ring you attached is A MAGNET. right? a strong magnet. IS THAT SAFE on the phone? it won't mess with any of the internal parts or functions of the phone? im guessing by the name "magsafe" its a safe magnet? no worries using your S Pen? No issues scrolling on your screen? and no funny stuff 2yrs 3yrs 4yrs from now, from having a strong magnet at the back of your phone?
how did you figure out where the charging coil is in order to use the guide to line up the magnet? I don't wanna be randomly using the guide and then end up covering the coil underneath!
dose the phone have fast wireless charging because mine has 15-watt saft wireless charging that's why it's taking that long to charge. and needs to be enabled in settings
Hi there. I am new to all of this msgsafe method. I have a Flip4 with a regular baseus wireless 15w charger. Why add magsae capability? Wouldn't this mess up the phone later as it has a different technology? Thanks in advance.
Hi how has this been holding up being on your phone ? Did you have issues with the actual m plate peeling off from your phone ? And if you've taken it off did it damage it in any way ,? Thinking of getting it for the fold 4
Will this enable the use of a magnetic power bank for an android phone such as my new Nothing 1? Can the ring be placed on the outer of the phone such as the case? Will it then function be able to be wireless as it is now?
And what with a phone protective case? I have a TPU case. But does it work and fit when I put the TPU Case on my phone and over the magsafe or do I need to put the magsafe then on my TPU case on the outside?
@@coppervsglass well for me it's not about wireless charging but just for car holders and card wallets because I have a Samsung a41 which doesn't support wireless charging
No if the phone doesn't support wireless charging then there's no way the ring can just add that to the phone. Only the accessories that are sold would work with the ring
Then continued to complain the wallet didn't align right... A week later, the magnetic stripes on all the cards stop working, wallet ditched, problem solved.
Why do you need a guide to stick a circle on the back? If you use it with the guide, you can't put a bigger wallet on it because it covers the camera. That's stupid. just stick it further down!
It's to align the wireless charging. So it comes down to the position of the wireless charging on the phone. You are right that one could stick it further down but that would render it useless when it comes to anything other than charging. Meaning you would only be able to use accessories such as grips or wallets, which is not what most people want.
@emilianop8598 that's exactly what I need.. accessories.. Wired charging is what I do. Don't have the patience to charge wireless.. I have an S23 Ultra.. and I'm rocking a samsung camel leather case.. its so beautiful that I just don't wanna take it off or stick this ring on the back.. I want to know that if stick the ring on the phone and then pit the case.. or if I stick it on the back of the case.. will it work?
I think people needed to see this work with a case on it-common sense.
100%
Exactly
Seriously. Who in this day and age uses a phone without a case?
Yup, will test it on a otterbox case once my mag pop socket gets here
@@vincentchung8701Me, but like 99% do use cases

Does that sticker thing works with a protective case like the otterbox defender or uag monarch??
Would the ring work on my galaxy a53?then would I be able to use a magnetic power bank charger with the ring
Does it come with 2 and will it attach to a spigen case. Also it does have wireless charging.
Can the ring stick to metals like fridge?
Is it affect to s-pen's functions, sir?
Can i add a magsafe sticker on my iphone 13 for a stronger magnet strength?
Can you test this magsafe ring when using normal charging pad not magsafe charger?
Don't put the plate on the phone directly put it on the case
I was thinking the same. I would have never put it on the phone, always on the case.
@cuba58h75 if your ever trading in your phone it's gonna leave a mark

Does absolutely nothing. Only interferes with the s pen when a magsafe accessory is attached. Magnets don't do nothing to the phone internally
if the iphone can run normally with a clear phone case with a magsafe ring on it, probably so will samsungs and othrr crap
i'd like to know if the sticker works if i put a cover or something inside of the cover, if it works, i'll be really happy to buy it

A lot of phones currently have a slower wireless charging like 5W or even 15W. Not many have more than that currently due to heating issues.

I think it will

? Thanks.
can you apply it directly tohe back of a case ?
Yes but your phone back has to be plastic or rough , to stick properly.

100% yes. If the phone has wireless charging you can use this ring then use even something like Apples magsafe powerbank
is it possible to put it inside the backglass of the phone is it thinn enough?

I thought you weren't supposed to use magnets near bank cards. ?
Only depends on whether you want them to work via magnet swiping. Some countries went full NFC/Contactless, I suppose it made things much easier.
Will this shatter your phone when trying to take it off?
No its all good. Its super strong but not strong enough to damage the device
You say at 1:42 the metal ring costs $11 and that's cheap. The product is a metal ring that probably costs 50 cents to make!
Do you think putting MagSafe on a steam deck would be okay?
Well I don't think the Steamdeck has wireless charging so I would say no lol
I was thinking more of the line of adding a MagSafe sticker like so and using a MagSafe cooling pad over the gpu and cpu to help keeping it cool
I Like it this video
nice
Thanks for watching buddy!
$60 for a MagSafe car mount!? No thank you!
