Every Keane song that I didn't know before turns into my favorite of all time...lol! I am a fan of so many bands but Keane is special for some very special reasons! Keane music touches my heart especially!!!

I absolutely fell in love with Keane when I heard Hopes and Fears. I still listen to songs from them everyday on my commute to work. I don’t necessarily like all of their work but I totally appreciate the sheer amount of talent they all bring to the table.
Every time I listen to this song, Iam back at the starting line to listen and enjoy this masterpiece.

Great acoustic version of my favourite track from Strangeland album. I run out of superlatives for this group - they just excel in every department, especially songwriting, where so many others fall down. In a fairer world, they'd be a household name. Maybe in a hundred years time...

You're right, Coldplay is the big thing !
But I read in a comment by a Briton that Tom Chaplin is a household name up there (I'm in France), so I thought KEANE as well logically.
The Beatles were exceptional in an exceptional era for R&R. There will never be another Beatles I think, or these God of Rock bands like Queen etc. Now it's all about marketing and money only, not quality or creativity.
I meet few people who know Keane here, they often understand "Queen" and I have to repeat the name.
The hyatus didn't help but hopefully it'll get better. They really deserve it.
@@ennediend2865 Many great artists & composers throughout history failed to achieve recognition until after their deaths. Like you, I hope it doesn't happen with Keane, but, sadly, people tend to be slow to catch on. To me, TRO is the last of the great songwriters in rock music, a true genius.

Was listening to the ‘Strangeland’ album today, it’s one of my favourites. This song came on and I forgot just what a great track it is, a lyrical masterpiece with vocals that really touch you, such meaningful words. It’s a crying shame that Keane stopped recording, such an underrated band, but I guess that’s what some of the great groups do, they just write fantastic songs and just leave you wanting more.
Keane's last album is from 2019, named Cause and Effect
