- Join us as we return to Fårup Sommerland in Denmark to experience this wonderful theme park in much warmer temperatures than on our previous visit! Fårup Sommerland is home to 8 roller coasters and in this vlog we share on ride POV's from all of them! This includes Fønix, Lynet and many more awesome attractions. Anyone up for a petition to get the UK parks to let Shaun use a chest-mounted go pro? TPW deserves to POV vlog every UK park at this point. The vlogs are always PHENOMENAL.

It's really weird seeing TPWW POV's without "wheeeey", "whoaaaa" "eelix eelix eelix" and most famous of all "it's the rockwork what really makes it"
The way that Falken coaster was bouncing around during the POV… YIKES! I grew up going to Magic Mountain during the 90s. I remember riding Psyclone and the old Colossus. So I can imagine what it felt like! 😂
You can tell that you guys are having an awesome time. Glad Fonix finally warmed up for you. Love that family boomerang! Roll on Liseberg.

As a Vekoma obsessed person that I am, WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME THIS PLACE EXISTED THIS IS LIKE VEKOMA HEAVEN 🤩
I kind of like the lack of audio here, they are going for a forest environment and nothing is better than silence other than the natural sounds of the surrounding woods, complete immersion. And of course the chatter of guests and the screams and roars of the rides, which solidify it as a theme park

@@ThemeParkWorldwide idk if you can, but in october they have a speciel week before closing with lights and awesome audios, the park is open to late. Its called “lysfald” which translates to light fall, might wanna check it out is a hole different atmosphere
I'm on board with you there . I do like audio but how you describe that made me think. Maybe it's nice to have a natural ambiance.
Totally agree. They could possible add some low music in the ride stations and or rides, but really not much more.
From the perspective of someone with sensory issues, the lack of blaring 'standard' theme park music actually makes this park incredibly appealing for me.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I can understand why that would be helpful for guests with sensory issues. For me audio doesn’t have to be loud, just gently on in the background to add to the ambience!

This has fired up my bucket list! Oh, you got my vote for the annual Theme park awards btw… no one is as in depth or paints as nice a picture of these parks as you and Charlotte. I just wish more parks (I’m looking at you Merlin and universal) let you film on ride! Good work 👍

You were very lucky to miss the 38 degrees Celsius heatwave back in the U.K. in July 2022. I actually remember it. Wish I was where you were in July 2022 to escape from it. It was horrible that heatwave, I was sweating like mad and struggling to sleep in bed

I was in Fårup sommerland where I tried the Hurricane/Orkanen 3 times in a row without ever leaving my seat. There was always no people

in winter 2022 (feb) i was down tacking to the park director where he said "Its a hit or miss" and i thinks we all enthusiast who have been to faarup can agre that this machine is a hit! (fønix)

A very countrified theme park. Looks amazing with nice chilled atmosphere. Be great to barbecue your own lunchbox. The lakes and boat rides help to relax the mind too. And what great amount of opening times. I often say our parks in England are too scroogy with opening times.

Did you know that Hvirvelvinden (close to lynet) was previously located at Liseberg. It was named Spinrock and stood where Loke is now.
Can’t believe if was back in April we were watching you here for the official opening of the Fenix coaster. Nicely themed and laid out park especially amongst the trees. Great POVs from the rides as ever. Nice one 👌😉
If everything works out I could have a job at Busch Gardens Tampa next week.

There is one of those sit on tyres opposite each other witches spin round apparatus at either Foremark or Staunton harold reservoir parks, both close to East Midlands airport.

Dang, park really loves Vekoma. Must have a good relationship with them. Interesting to see only new Vekomas too. That's.... unheard of almost haha. Most parts have an older Vekoma if they have any.

Fun fact: The big green pillow-like trampoline (In danish ‘Hoppepude’) was actually invented in Fårup Sommerland! Love your videos!!

Fantastic vlog as always Shawn and Charlotte! Unfortunately due to dizziness and inner ear issues I don't go to theme parks much as generally there aren't a lot of rides that I can go on but I love watching your videos everyday and seeing you both and the general public having a good fun time. It is like by watching your amazing videos I can enjoy theme parks without making myself ill in the process! Already looking forward to the next vlog. Pleased that you are both having a great time and the weather is better than last time for you.

This park dont need any audio, its supposed to be relaxed more nature experience. Some audio on a couple on the rides (especially the rapids would benefit) and or stations could work though. BBQ is actually quite common in "parks" all over Scandinavia. Either it be a public park, beach, "theme park", camping (most of them there naturally). And its open for all.

can´t agree with the audio, it's so annoying it would ruin the experience for me, making it feel cheap and commercialized, love the incorporation of nature and the stillness, and calm environment, the song at the entrance is way more than enough

Farup Farup Farup! What an amazing park! And you guys are amazing too! Fønix looks to be one of the best coasters in Scandinavia and prob. The best in Denmark. When is the Liseberg vlog coming by the way? I’m going there on the 25th so it would be amazing timing if that came that day! Keep up the content guys!

3:25 How often do you get to see wind turbines and wind farm at a theme park? Not too often, especially on a roller coaster. There is a wind farm next door to the Sommerland park.

Hi Shawn, I just wanted to say I love all your RUclips videos and i look forward to watching each and every one! I also wanted to ask you a question about parks since I thought who better to ask. I was wanting to go to a theme park at some point in the summer holiday and I was thinking of going to chessington with my younger brother. I wanted to know if you knew what the best time to book would be as I don’t want to have to wait in long queues all day long. Even if I have to book fast track that would be fine but I wanted to get some insight from you first if possible. Keep up the great videos and I would love to hear back from you if you get a chance.
