I always liked the comics version of Mordo. He was a classic depiction of envy, making him more of an obscessed pest than a serious threat.
Great video as usual! I've never heard of the whole "Baron Mordo was behind all of Steven's woes!" plot, it sounds uh... dumb, if I'm being honest haha. I've always thought Dr. Strange's Origin as an arrogant man who found compassion and enlightenment when he started living for more than himself to be perfect. But comics do have a tendency to overcomplicate themselves. Looking forward to whatever you produce next!
The sad thing is that Mordo actually SHOULD have stayed dead after that! His story kind of ended there.

What would happen if we saw Baron Mordo with these powers and abilities in the MCU? How is the MCU version of him compared to his comic book counterpart? Did Chiwetel Ejoifor did a great job in portraying Baron Mordo in the MCU?
The acting was good, but it wasn't Mordo. The MCU hates having decent recurring villains.

How come we didn't find out about his current status during Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness instead we see a version of him from another universe who's part of the Illuminati? Do you think Baron Mordo will play a major role in Doctor Strange 3?
There's a deleted scene that was filmed and scrapped of Wanda chasing him through the woods, eventually killing him, and that was supposed to be part of the movies intro.

Geez! IF ONLY...If only comics were as spectacular as the comics of the past. There are very few mediums that become worse over the course of time; Marvel Comics is one of these exceptions. Driving a 30 plus year collector right out of modern collecting (ME!) In the end, I would buy $100's of dollars worth of comics N merch, look at the covers and put them in a box...UNREAD! (that was the only benificial outcome of the plauge. It allowed me to quit "cold turkey". The only one I regretted (althougth what I just heard earlier today, maybe I don't ! was Amazing Spider-man.) If they still wrote with this kind of passion and interest in their craft; Marvel would be HUGE! Society "tender foots" be damned! Let them be offended or shocked. Great show! It warms my comic lovin' heart to hear comic book stories the way they were ALWAYS meant to be...ENTERTAINING! \m/
Do you think we will see a flashback of the origin story of the MCU version of Baron Mordo? Do you think this one killed his mother and grandfather to avenge his father just like his comic book counterpart?
A lot of this will have to change for obvious reasons having to do with Mordo's actor in the MCU but a bunch of it, the important bits at least that inform him as a character, could still totally be true in the MCU

I want to give you some props, my man. I think you're the only content creator I know of who goes fully into always making sure you're calling Romani people Romani rather than the G slur. It's a battle that's still being fought unfortunately and seeing you always on the right side of it really is nice to see here on youtube.
Gypsy isn't a slur, it's a catch all term for the many different groups of travellers.
