I agree!!! I love his later albums because of this because he started really addressing stuff, he still had fun music but he was really really addressing issues. I always find that these are the songs however the media picks apart the most... I love me some thriller and Billie Jean but... These songs are what made me such a fan of him...
One of my fav Michael songs, no matter how many times I watch or hear this, I can never walk away without crying and damn near hyperventilating😞. Michael pours all of his emotions into his music, so you have no choice but to hear, feel and understand him❤. I remember when I was a kid I always listened to Michael Jackson CDs. Afcurse his music videos were the best thing on MTV. We don't get musicians like that anymore.
Michael Jackson showed the world how reality is, and gave us songs and inspiration. But he became too powerful in the music industry. He still owns the Beatles catelogue for example. Everytime a beatles song is played on tv or radio or film or anything, he gets paid. Hollywood elites took him down with fake child abuse claims, and when even proven innocent in the 2005 trial, they moved on and found someone else. There was no public apology in the news media the day when his verdicts was read out. When he died, all these celebrities were on tv to say how much they loved him, but they were nowhere to be seen during his trials. Celebrity is temporary fame, Michael Jackson was pure soul.
I'm 46 and this song has been on my playlist for many many years and I've "Boo-hood" so many tears to this song. You would have to be full of hate not to cry. I miss MJ so much!

Gracie, your sensitivity is of the most touching, that's why I like watching your reactions, because in your emotion I feel mine. Yes, MJ had sent that message almost 30 years ago, and this planet hasn't improved a great deal since. The problem is not overpopulation, as some would have us think. It's been proven that our planet can sustain a population bigger than what it is today. No, the problem is the way of life in developed industrialzed countries. That's why I go to work using public transportation, eat vegetarian as often as I can, and also donate to NGOs to help people in dire situations in other countries, especially Africa. And whenever I feel discouraged, I think about giving a smile to every child in this world, and I'm back on my feet.

We don't have to imagine this. Michael singing this song many times at his concerts.
Michael Jackson showed the world how reality is, and gave us songs and inspiration. But he became too powerful in the music industry. He still owns the Beatles catelogue for example. Everytime a beatles song is played on tv or radio or film or anything, he gets paid. Hollywood elites took him down with fake child abuse claims, and when even proven innocent in the 2005 trial, they moved on and found someone else. There was no public apology in the news media the day when his verdicts was read out. When he died, all these celebrities were on tv to say how much they loved him, but they were nowhere to be seen during his trials. Celebrity is temporary fame, Michael Jackson was pure soul.

Gracie, your sensitivity is of the most touching, that's why I like watching your reactions, because in your emotion I feel mine. Yes, MJ had sent that message almost 30 years ago, and this planet hasn't improved a great deal since. The problem is not overpopulation, as some would have us think. It's been proven that our planet can sustain a population bigger than what it is today. No, the problem is the way of life in developed industrialzed countries.
That's why I go to work using public transportation, eat vegetarian as often as I can, and also donate to NGOs to help people in dire situations in other countries, especially Africa.
And whenever I feel discouraged, I think about giving a smile to every child in this world, and I'm back on my feet.
