- An imperfect IDM jam primarily using Elektron's Analog Rytm MKII with some sequencing from the MPC One. Experimenting a lot with the Direct Jump feature and letting happy accidents unfold in and through the machines.
Super dope!
this might be one of the coolest rytm vids i’ve seen yet
thanks!
This is brilliant. Deep, broad, professional sound - nice
nice patch
Sounding good! Analog Rytm 🥳
Analog Lex MKII
interesting setup 🙂
Please upload more of this
Request noted; will definitely upload some more AR jams 🙂
@@bluecliffsynthesis6685 I'm waiting! 😅
Link your soundcloud/bandcamp whatever I have listened to this too many times !
my old soundcloud: soundcloud.com/geometricsound - have yet to put newer stuff on a platform, but cooking some things up :) stay tuned and thank you for listening 🙂
This is great! I've been considering an MPC to pair with my A4. What is the MPC sequencing here?
Sending CC messages to control sample selection, filter, Q, and sample start! I've also experimented with the MPC automating program changes, and thus doing direct jump between patterns on phasing sequences.
@@bluecliffsynthesis6685wait how do you get the the AR to do direct jumps from external transport control? I’ve been trying to do it but failed…
@@FairuzOsman You'll want to send program change MIDI messages!
@@bluecliffsynthesis6685 yeah I did that! But it would wait until the whole pattern ends before changing. No direct jump’s unfortunately… was thinking to use it with abletons follow action!
@@FairuzOsman You'll want to be sure to change the pattern chain behavior to Direct Jump [Function + Bank C], and then in the pattern length setting [Function + Page] go to Advanced, and then change the pattern Change parameter to 2. Hope that helps :)
how are they connected? who's doing the sequencing? the elektron?
Sending some CC information from the MPC One, but otherwise the patterns/sounds/sequencing are all within the Rytm~
Logic would incur that I could do the same with a deluge on the MPC
@@TheRhyne91 Definitely dude! Check out Deluge's manual for CC specifications, then set up the MPC to send it CC information :)
