Great Marty! Still watch and don't have slots anymore. Practice and you'll get it. 1 tip though. Yes temperature, remember brass flexes other more. Enjoy it tons of uses.

Another tip if you have the flat head screwdriver looking tip try that one. It’s thicker at the end. Helps touch both pieces at the same time.

Nice going Marty. I bought a couple of those little needle tip bottles for flux and they leaked all over the place. Now I just use a little brush.
I am going to move to a brush.. less waste.
I have an Xtronic soldering station as back up to my Weller station.

It looks nice👍👍 it's great to have a good soldering iron. Looks like you just have to learn a technique that works best for doing this maybe the guy's who do these builds will post some tips for ya.
